I'm a weekend warrior, jack-of-all-trades, DIY type of guy that has lots of different interests, most of which involve trucks, tractors and heavy equipment. I cut a lot of firewood, move a lot of dirt and tinker on all types of projects in my shop when I have spare time outside my day job. My goal for this channel is to document and share what an average guy could do with equipment that is typically at any local rental place. I want to be able to share my weekend projects with others and for those that share the same passions as me I hope you'll tag along.

Neil, this is my favorite because of the new skid steer and the shout out you gave me at the end! I look and listen quite often, and the results look amazing!
Neil, great job! That looks exhausting, but it will be so nice to have it all done. A couple of questions: - At your friends house where you picked up the Kubota, is that one of your old dump trucks in the back? The red Ford? - On your black Ford dump truck, will the body filler stay in place if it gets hit with anything? Or will it crack out? Thanks!
Love to see an old A.C. My grandpa used to collect older ACs and I've always loved them because of that. I remember he used to take me on tractor rides all the time when I was little and let me "drive" which was really just steering. I remember the first time I got to take it out to drive all by myself. The first tractor I got to do that with was an old Allis Chalmers CA. I think that might be the only one he still has with a blade for the back that he can use to clear the snow off his driveway in the winter.
This shows what is wrong with our society we need to get back to Teaching our families true values and not just giving them a d*** cell phone your project looks great man God bless
That is so awesome. I was 6 years old and we lived 5 miles out of town the first time I drove a tractor. My dad borrowed a tractor that I think was a John Deere but I may be mistaken. He didn't have a trailer or a way to get it out to our house to plow up a huge garden spot. So he showed me how to drive it and he followed behind in his truck and I drove all the way home. After we plowed up the gardens spot, I drove the tractor 5 miles back to town and like you, I thought I was the big big man.... Memories!!!
If more people worked as hard as you do to fix things while including their family, the world wouldn't be such a mess. You can tell what kind of husband you are by the look on your wife's face. Great family.
It looks like for the man. Power the equipment the trucks in the gravel. It would have been just as cheap to put gutters on it And gutter screens and downspouts. Ice will do damage in the winter that you wouldn't see for many years, but it is a big problem.
@digdrivediy - I’ve always called a Skill Saw a rip saw on the job site. Family & I are going back and watching all your videos, since starting with your Pond Dig/Build, last year. Our Sunday morning tradition has been to watch a new video before leaving for Church service!
Unfortunately I don’t think I’m gonna make it this year. My daughters have a state cross country meet the next morning 7 hours away so it’ll be logistically difficult.
With Jack's grader box, did you find being able to adjust the angle of the box itself with that second hydraulic cylinder on the 3 point drawbar to be useful? Or did you just leave it once it was in the right place? Either way, super cool to see that adaptation, I recently got a 3 point box with the idea of doing the same conversion and this looks very similar to what I am thinking (except mine is only 4ft, I have a narrow gravel driveway and a 445 to pull it).
I grew up driving a old massey TO-30. I was 8 or so and my first time learning to drive a clutch was on that beast hauling split firewood or pulling logs off the hill. I'm 22 years old now and its still used to this day doing the same job and runs like a top. I don't have kids yet but what you experienced in this video with your daughters, Neil, is what i'm most excited for! Thank you for your wholesome videos.
That Hydro Bucket is the bee's kneez! Love it! One has to wonder though, how long the tines/teeth will last. I know they're solid carbide, but seems like they would grind down fast with constant pressure and high RPM is sandy soil!
Canny wait for the reveal! Hoping we'll get a finished shot when the grass has come through too Neil. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe you did all that work yourself, almost. One shiny truck to collect very soon then! 😁
Neil, I can't stay off your channel or this video.... Sorry! I think I have asked this before but, what do professionally and do you think you could do this RU-vid full time and still be as successful? You got something serious going on sir....
Couldn’t wait for a new video! Went to DC, so familiar with the area. Love every video!! Do you think you made a good deal? Seems like A LOT of time and $ you put into this 6acre yard!
