We are a married couple who decided to embrace a nomadic lifestyle. We juggle work and travel - so we're not your typical tourists! We balance short stays and long term stays with our sense of adventure. Although, a Wi-Fi connection can never be too far away. We discover the world with a digital nomad, location independent lifestyle and want to bring you along too. Sometimes it's checking out the best spots to eat, sometimes it's finding adventure, sometimes it's exploring the different work environments around the world.
Just amazes me at the end of the video they were having dinner, they're on the continent of africa and not one black face. Colonizers they are. King Leopold for example felt like he had the GOD given right to kill millions of Congolese and the Boers decided to take a country from the people who already were inhabiting it. Wow if there is truly a Hell its has to be filled with these people
Santa Cruz hat zwar Tortuga Bay und da einen sauberen Nationalpark, aber ansonsten ist es dort wirklich schmutzig. Also Puerto Ayora.
Heloo Emma , this video was great . our group 4 person soon to travel to Kenya this June .. could you give us a contact that rent a car , very approciated from Viet Nam
As long as you are in the vehicle, you are safe!!! These lions are habitual of humans presence and their vehicles, hence they don't treat them as preys. But those lions were very curious about the commotions. The Alpha Male who was roaring and trying to show his dominance, and that is really a worrying sign. When confronted the Lions have only 2 options, either subdue the threat or escape from the situation, this Lion definitely not in a mood to leave!!! He wants to assert his dominance. Its very lucky that the other vehicle get started on time!!! And never feed any wild animals, it's a great injustice to those animals. The authorities should ban such reckless things.....
Thanks for the video! I’m gonna take the overnight ferry to Crete too soon, that helps! Is there a hairdryer though? Really need to wash my hair every night lol
We did this from Bwindi last year. Seems expensive but its worth it. I believe it is more expensive in Rwanda. I dont recommend going from Kampala/Entebbe in a single day if you can help it. Its a long way and there is lots to see and do on the way. The comment about the bumpy roads is true and we had to do a long detour due to heavy rain. Got to our accommodation about 9:30pm. Dinner was waiting and welcome! Overall we took 3 days to get to Bwindi and spent 2 days getting back. There is a chance you will not find gorillas but I think it is low. No refunds if they cant be found which is fair. The terrain is steep, wet and rugged (and can be hot and humid) so make sure you get in some training. We are 60+ years old and spent 6 months training walking around our local hills to prepare. We took aluminium walking poles but I used the wooden ones offered locally. Super light and way better. We also hired a local to carry our packs and give us a hand on the steep bits. Could have managed without them but its cash into the local economy and we enjoyed talking to them anyway. We found our group in about an hour but it was pretty steep from our drop off point so it was quite a workout. Also look at the conditions in this video. Leggings, trainers and a fashionable jacket are not suitable. You will probably get wet, muddy, dirty, hot, tired and maybe bitten or stung by giant nettles but its all part of the fun. And no, you can't just get a permit and do it yourself. You would probably just get lost plus the interaction with the gorillas is tightly controlled for your protection and theirs. PS a short note on Uganda itself. It's brilliant! We loved it an would like to go back. Maybe one day😊
I spent a few weeks in Chile a few years and travelled through the country from south to north. I noticed that in the south, the food was bland and lacked flavour, however as I travelled northwards it definitely improved. I love Chile though and it remains my favourite country out of any I’ve visited, it is fantastic.
went there almost every week with some other students around the 1980s to view ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW...when Munich was still beautiful and safe, i.e. before immigration scammers. Cinema visitors were always singing along, throwing rice, etc....
