Welcome to the official RU-vid channel of Frank Zappa. In his unprecedented and incredibly prolific career, Zappa released more than 60 groundbreaking albums during his lifetime, as a solo artist and with his bands, The Mothers of Invention and The Mothers. From the early primal psychedelic rock of The Mothers Of Invention’s 1966 debut album, Freak Out!, one of the earliest double albums in rock, to the jazz-rock fusion of 1969’s’s Hot Rats, to the experimental, envelope pushing of 1969’s Uncle Meat and 1971’s surrealistic film and soundtrack, 200 Motels, to the orchestral compositions of his later years, Zappa’s unrelentless artistic drive, pushed him into a dizzying array of musical worlds, never content to stay in one lane for very long. #FrankZappa
I, too, remember making a 'project' using slides like that when I was in elementary school! I remember it being so hard to draw anything good THAT SMALL! Thanks for kicking THAT memory into my brain.

Brilliant! In 1974, I thought I was a pretty hip 9th grader, but I didn't have nothin' on you, Bill. This is biscuit crux level art. Frank would've liked it too. (It's that good!) I'm gonna subscribe to your channel now.
my birth year! I was a full on Zappa fan at 12-13. His music was so wonderfully weird, and has been a part of my journey so often. Very cool artwork, I would give you great grades too :)

You've got great taste ! Frankie's take on today's political situation would be much appreciated. I wonder what musical madness he would be up to at this stage
Nineteen fucking sixty eight. My mother was 3 yo, and I would be born 15 years later. I never knew this era, but I'm glad to have felt, in my deep soul when I was a teenager, that this guy was intellectually tripping on middle-age stuffs and creating a wormhole between rock and classical music, back in those modern days. Visionnary ! Even the sound of the drums, the tambourine, were transporting me in the etherial area of a space-time mindfuck, deploying the scrolls of nostalgia and rediscovery. Every sound or smell was a blast. PS : at 3:10, that "saxophone" sound of his guitar !! 😱
I really hate Ahmet and don't understand why anyone in the FZ fanbase would care at all about anything this dude has to say about Frank or his music. This dude is a disgrace to his dad's name.
