How did you forget one of the PC grandaddies? System shock has a dynamic soundtrack that reacts to player health, enemy types nearby, combat status, etc…
OMG, this game has been living in my head rent free for so long. I never knew what it was, I played it at my uncles place when I was small; and I never found it again, because I couldn't remember the title. thank you, will be playing it again soon c:
I just found your channel and have been enjoying it very much. Much of this information on aspect ratios I didn't know, especially that they cropped The Simpsons and Seinfeld, wow! One thing I would add for a discussion about TV screens making movies worse in the "modern problems" section is the issue with framerate. I can't tell you how many times I've started watching a movie with some friends to find that their TV is adding frames because of its default settings, and I seem to be the only one that's appalled by the movie looking like it's shot on video. To me it's just as glaring as an incorrect aspect ratio. If I become president I will campaign that all movies shown at home be locked at 24fps. I think the world would be a better place. Keep up the great content!
Put this into perspective, AI interpolation is the equivalent of inviting your little brother to help you build a Lego city for him to tear it apart and rebuild it in his own image.. a messy, unorganized, poorly made city. It's a city, but.. worse.
I saw the low-poly shotgun, i knew immediately what game this was. Every night I hear it deep in the caverns of distant past, "One magazine on backup" I am so happy to see this game make be recognized someone and not just me and I think two other people.
I would have never known this. Also, ill never forget the debut of sponch Bob, my friend and I at the time were like, the fuck is this? But it was good and I never knew ween was considered penis music
