The best is going to thrift shops and looking for higher quality clothing in good condition. Many thrift shops, such as the two I volunteer for, reject clothing donations that are dirty, pilly, ripped, stained, etc. Some actually even support a charity organization, such as a home for women escaping abuse or a food pantry. So you're also helping others by buying the clothes
I have never bought a new pair of jeans my entire adult life, I am near 60. My mother bought me a couple of Old Navy when I was visiting her as she loves them. I wore one pair out in a week, same with Skechers which my foot doctor gives a no. There is a style of Levi's that fit me well as do UniQlo, find what works for you, your body. I still enjoy and use my O Bag which never really took off in the US. Good thing is that if the item does not work for you it can be sold or donated. Don't regret that lesson.

I completely about the importance of posture. It was pointed out to me by my favorite aunt when I was just 18 yo. She saw me getting ready for an important event wearing a new-to-me style of a red body con halter dress. She said if I wasn’t going to wear with confidence she wasn’t letting me leave the house! She gave me some tips I’ve never forgotten and they transferred to everything I wore. ❤

Another must have is a subscription to this channel from mid-40s onwards. I’m not just being sycophantic. My Mum died quite young after a long illness so I can’t ask her about midlife issues. RU-vid channels like yours have been a great source of information for me. Also, I’m the only petite in a tall family, and most of my friends are taller than I am, so they don’t understand the issues. Thank you!

Too many shirts! What about some dresses? I don’t wear a dress often because I’m a senior and I’m retired but sometimes I need a dress and I’m just tired of pants and shirts. That’s all I see.

Since I started taking iodine tablet once a day (doesn’t take much and almost everyone is deficient), my hair stopped falling out after years of hair loss. Also way upped my protein (hair is made of protein) so if you’re low on protein, which I was, my hair was very thin.

I’ve tried my share of eyebrow products & have been happiest with simple, cheap maybelline great lash CLEAR mascara! Lost all my hair in 2021( with chemo) and have been using Nutrafol for women 50+. I have a full head of hair now for quite some time. Maybe would have grown it without doing anything but didn’t want to find out I guess. They have different formula capsules depending on age and cause of hair loss etc. hope you find something that works for you!

Hi Lori! Omg, I resonate with your channel so much 😊! I'm going to try the deodorant because I too have noticed the same thing! I currently use the Seed /cream one and I love the scent, but I noticed it's not working as well. Also, just wanted to share I love your voice, it's so soothing. Not to mention, the weight loss definitely shows. Would love to see a "what you eat in a day" video other than the morning protein drink (which I will also try)! As a fellow petite it's freaking hard to rid my last 10 lbs!! I used to intermittent fast and that stopped working 🤷🏻♀️

Try Vegamour hair serum. I had some hormonal hair loss around the time. I turned 45. It’s completely gone now you’re supposed to use the hair serum every day. I use it every three days and it worked amazing. I do use the shampoo and conditioner every other day as well.
Hi Lori. I always appreciate your content. I'm also petite (4'10") and you've helped me discover some great items. I'm a big fan of Anastasia clear brow gel. I use after the Benefit Gimme Brow +. I used to use it alone but as I've aged and my brows became thinner, I found I needed more color. I've been using the Vegamour Gro Hair Serum for about a year. In the beginning I wasn't really sure it was doing anything. But what I found is when I stopped using it, I started having hair loss again.

I have combination skin that gets dry around my nose and chin, then oily in the t zone. Lucky me lol! I also have a neutral undertone and have redness around my nose area. My skin is not super sensitive but can react occasionally. Hope that helps! 😘❤️

Love this video! Lori- NYX thick it/ stick it is a colored brow mascara and I love it! I run the benefit precisely brow brush through as a final step- NO flakes and light hold, not crispy. I also bought 3 of your favorites to try- underwear, bra and the protein drink in cafe latte. Thanks for the recommendations. I trust you do your research and am here for it. 😊
Great video! My suggestion for eyebrow gel is Benefit Gimme Brow. I’ve used it for years and I’ve never noticed any white flakes. It works well for my unruly gray eyebrows 😊

Thank you, pleated wide leg pants look like crap on the 5 ft something girl. They look ok on a Korean girl that weighs 90 lbs or a 6 ft giraffe who weighs 125. I have them in every color because they looked good in the store.
My favorite casual summer shoe, for the last 3 years, has been Vionic Beach sneakers. They are like an updated Keds & come in multiple colors. $69 full price, but I recently picked up 2 new pair discounted at an end of season sale.
