"Sounds like that splitters scraping....but we're committed now" 😂 Gotta love this mans will to send it! ❤ Heres the ebay listing name of my personal choice of gear on my 2wd MOD1 conversion. Hardened Steel 36T 1.0 Mod1 Spur Gear fit Traxxas Revo Serpent Mugen BMT Ofna
The largest I've found in that pitch is a 36t by Arrma. I've switched most of mine over to mod1. Much easier to find, works well. Of course, most of mine are 2wd. Great run, great videos, glad I found your channel.
@RCKnockout if you can't find one, I've got a couple. I can send you one. Mod1 has a much wider selection of sizes, probably easier to hit the triples. I've just gotten into speed running. I'm definitely following your progress.
I make my splitters out of 1/8 thick nylon sheet. I can make them any size and shape. It’s a bitch to worms with. I cut long straight sections with a metal sheer and curved sections with a coping saw and finah with a hand saw. They are much much stronger than what you have. I drill the locating holes using the old splitter or the chassis as a template.
Bro I completely forgot about u I love ur stampede series as I have one my self it’s currently Broken the axel is but love ur content and keep the work up
40 tooth spur gear should do it as long as,you don't overheat the ecu by trying to pin to early. When I went with that high I f a ratio it was like nothing to overheat and shut down.
87mph is pretty good for that setup still not 100mph, I agree you might need Mod 1 spur and pinion i know that the spurs from a nitro Revo or Slayer should fit on the stock or stock style slipper clutches. And maybe for pinion one from an XO-1 since they use a 34 tooth for the speed gear a channel i know that used to do speedrun content had a speed slash build he used a Revo spur and an XO-1 pinion on his.
@@RCKnockout I know it's hard to reach that 100mph goal but trust me you'll get to 100mph eventually if you keep on it. I'll be starting my speedrun journey soon my granddad knows of a good road in my state local to me that might be would i'll need to go 100mph with my cars and trucks. I'm going to start with my Traxxas XO-1 and my Rlaarlo AK-917 eventually i'll be getting an Arrma Infraction V2 and maybe a Limitless V2 someday to add to my growing arsenal of onroad bashers and speedruners.
@@RCKnockout No problem, I'm a newbie to speedruns as well but i have been doing some research on this side of the hobby. And i don't mind helping out whenever i can and i hope my start into speedrunning goes smoothly and i don't have a lot of issues. But i'll start off slow with what i currently have in my 2 on road car then upgrade them as i need to.
Dude I would say your absolutely on the right track! I ran a 22/50 in my stampede on 3s with castle 3200 kv and got 70, so on 6s with a bigger pinion and lower lv that 87 is probly just about rite. Definitely would try mod1. If u take your tooth count and subtract 20% that would be mod1/32pitch equivalent if that helps. Not sure about the slash but biggest possible pinion for a stampede with stock motor mount is a 26/34 (with slight modification to motor mount). Can't wait for the next attempt, so close man keep pushing!
@@RCKnockout No doubt brother! The feeling your gonna get when u finally hit those triple digits will be borderline overwhelming, it was for me anyway lol. The harder the fight, the better the reward will be! I know u want it bad, and I want for u, especially having followed u every step of the way
Sweet run dude! Mayb stiffer springs will help it not scrape so much. keep up the good work! One day I'll get into speed run videos, for now it's just crawlers and trophy trucks.
Thanks man! I think I’ll do the fuel line hack to the front shocks as well so it won’t scrape Speed runs is definitely a bit of a different animal…especially compared to crawling lol
