Awesome! Nice to see you took my upgrade suggestion and did it can't wait to see it run hopefully with no cutouts Hobbywing and Hobbywing based esc seem to have that issue which is why most of the modern pro to hardcore speedrunners use Castle esc's with big cappacks and qs8 or Castle 6.5 or 8mm connectors. I plan to either buy a brand new XO-1 V2 or rebuild mine and go all out with it since it's one of my dream RC cars as crazy as it sounds.
@@RCKnockout Yeah, I hope the power system doesn't start cutting out that's one of the main reasons i might switch my current XO-1 over to an MMX8s system over the Max 6 G1 i already have in my car.
@@cjchannel12RC yeah that might be a good upgrade to do…will have to see how the Slash does in the next speed run…gotta wait for all the snow to melt first
@@RCKnockout It sure would but don't spend yourself broke do it a little at a time and it won't seem so out of range. But you know a MM2 or MMX 6s would be a great cost effective option if you only plan to do 100mph then you might be fine with one of those and not need the MMX8s.
Yep I used to run one…the housing got destroyed in a previous run…I probably won’t be going back to one…I’ll stay with a slipper if it holds the power or swap over to a slipper eliminator
@RCKnockout, yes, swap to a slipper eliminater or try the Hot Racing one way center differential. Also, can I suggest you get a better transmitter. There is a guy who recommends the Futaba 7pxr or 10px. That way you can set up the throttle curve.
