I’m 9 days post thigh lift surgery. I had a tummy tuck and arm light back in September, as well. All of my current experiences are identical to yours. My swelling was so painful this go round, i had very little if any swelling in my first surgery, how long did it take for the swelling in you thighs to go down? The first few days after surgery the compression garment was not tight enough Andi think that contributed to my swelling in my thighs. I have a better garment on now, so we will see how this goes! This is such a healthy point of view and I'm so glad that you shared it. You are so right that we need to be able to tolerate the inevitable changes that our bodies will go through if we are lucky enough to live into old age. I wish you all the best.

Just got thight lift 2 weeks ago. I totally empathize with you since I’m doing the recovery all by myself with ocasional help of a nurse. It’s a very very invasive surgery and I also have been having issues with one leg , because it’s hard going to the bathroom without putting any tension in your butt . Still on antibiotics . Would appreciate some tips , specially since I’m recovering by myself too.

I know you’re not feeling the weight loss community but would love a plastics update. I find plastic surgery videos hard to come by on RU-vid. I so appreciated watching yours and have just been curious how the arms and legs healed. I am six weeks postop arm lift and thigh lift and I’m having a really hard time. My arms are still sore, still swollen and still have very limited mobility. The recovery struggle is real! I wish I could find more videos for information out there; hence why I am reaching out to you :-)
