Any wars, even centuries-old ones, always end in one thing: negotiations and peace. And for me, the question has long arisen: is it worth piling up mountains of the dead, breeding widows, orphans, cripples... to ruin the work of dozens of previous generations - so that later we can still sit down and negotiate? (I'm sorry, I could have translated incorrectly)
WARS SOLVE NOTHING = THE MAJORITY WERE OVER A COUNTRY TAKING OVER ANOTHER THAT IT DID NOT HAVE UNDER THEIR """ CROWN """ = TAKE = BRITAIN = EVERY COUNTRY IT EVER STEPPED IT COMMITTED A GENOCIDE ON THE PEOPLE """ THAT ALREADY EXISTED """ = THEIVES AND "" SAVAGES """ !!! War - Edwin Starr
Thank You Miss Angel, I take a break from riding and avoiding people to have you fill my old eyes with tears. I was raised in a Veteran family to Honor and Respect our Fallen Heroes. To serve was never questioned. Of all the nations America has helped after war, only Canada repaid the debt! It makes sense a strong Canadian Lady would champion the history with dignity. Greatly Appreciated Angel. I beg of the people to not wish a Veteran or Service Member anywhere a "happy day" , just show them gratitude and Respect them allow them about their day. Thank You to all my fellow Veterans With Love and Respect You are ALL in my prayers Hoka Hey
@@RedRiderCanadaBC you did so much more Red. Miss Angel I wish we could spread the wonderful in you to all people. As it stands you are a Diamond in the rough! Thank You
Awesome! I got a big lump in my throat.. I found myself reliving those days in the eyes of those people past. their trials and tribulations. Thank God for Jesus and you too
I am on my way to decorate my family members graves that gave all for our country, we still have decoration day at our old cemetery that dates back to the late 1700's, I come from a military family, all of my Sons served and faught in American wars, thank you and bless you on this special American day
Sitting here listening to an approaching thunder storm roll in, I find it quite fitting on this Memorial Day. My great grandfather on my mothers side of the family fought in the Civil War for the South. Military service teaches so much more than "fighting". I would not trade my time in the Navy for anything and I am always proud of my service time. Thank you for your Memorial Day video! Ride and stay safe up in your beautiful B.C.! Peace!
As an American I thank you for such a beautiful recognition of the holiday I hold dearest. It will be the best I will see all day, brought tears to my eyes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you Red. Great intro and background scenery. Thanks for the excellent history lesson. Great script and dialog. Thank you. Enjoy Memorial day while honoring those who gave all in service of their Country.
Well done, thank you for remembering your brothers and sisters south of you. Hoping all that lost a love one are not mourning but celebrating their love ones for they are enjoying eternity with God the almighty! Peace, love and all good things.
That was so awesome Angel. You are a true Saint hearted person. Thank you for the words of wisdom that so many don't know or just take for granted. Stay blessed and hope to see you on the flip side. Maybe another Forgotten Angels campout! ❤
Outstanding,,, thank you for this,,, in my town, in NYC, there is a monument for those lost in the Civil War. Yesterday they had the 102nd memorial day parade
touching and thoughtful video God bless you for comforting those who are doing it tough on a day like today. In Australia we have a day called ANZAC DAY very much the same Lest we forget the thousands of young men who gave their lives so we could be free and ride our motorcycles in our free country, Nice job today on your video... Top marks
I have never heard a more befitting tribute to Memorial Day. Your parents must be very proud of you, and well they should be; they did a fine job. God bless you and all whom you love. Be safe.
Man, that was a whole lot of interesting information. I'm American AND in the army and I still didn't know a lot of that stuff. That was a great video; thank you very much! Happy Memorial Day to everyone!
Well done young lady. Had to share it on Facebook. You've learned more than us Americans know about our holiday. Thanks for taking the time to research it and share with all of us. PS. always nice to see you looking a bit girly and without the usual hoodie sweat shirt look lol. You're a beautiful girl inside and out.
Great job! People rarely really research anything unless it's important to them. 90% of us here in the states don't know what you do. With my grandfather buried at Ft. Benning (Columbus, Ga) and a father that will be buried on a military base and a Son in the military I appreciate your reverence in this video.
Thanks Red, I'm Canadian but Mom's family fought for Old Virginia. When you read the poem, I had never heard before, well I was crying the tears you were holding back. My Virginia family helped start that country.
Being an American and a vet I think it's very sweet that you did this and thank you for this as I lost friends in these wars very thoughtful of dollars face!
Thank you Red! What a nice tribute to our fallen. Several years ago I happened to be riding in Maryland and stopped by Antietam National Battlefield for Memorial Day festivities. It was very moving. Upon leaving I noticed a separate cemetery for the Confederate fallen and the graves had no flags by them. It was then I learned that there is a separate Confederate memorial Day...
@@RedRiderCanadaBC Red, I think you should get a 1952 Vincent Black Lightning. I think it will make sense if you've ever listened to that iconic song...
Thank you, Angel. I really appreciate the work you put into this video. We all need to remember that Freedom is Not Free. It comes at a terrible price. Your opening Bible verse at the beginning of this video was a perfect choice to open the video.
Thank you Angel. I haven’t seen anything from an American posted about Memorial Day. Most people just see it as another paid holiday. You’re awesome girl!
Wow! So many here in the states have no idea what the day is about. Thank you, as a Canadian, for recognizing and honoring the fallen soldiers of America.
Oh there’s so much in this for me to personally unpack…….So sweet of you Angel to take the time to show some love and appreciation to your neighbors south of the border from you 💔🙏🇺🇸🫡 I too will also REMEMBER AND HONOR all that paid the ULTIMATE PRICE FOR OUR FREEDOM
Thank you for that touching poem. Thank you for taking an interest into our history. Thank you for the information about Memorial Day. Never knew Memorial Day had such a humble beginning and it is due to the Civil War. You Canadians have endured war right along with the U.S. We should always remember the fallen in battle and to hold them in high regard. I pray that peace and comfort come to those who have suffered the experience of war, have been injured, and lost loved ones in these terrible confrontations. Thank you Red Ryder!
Memorial day has been a huge deal for my family my whole life. I've had family in every war this country has ever fought in. As my father's before me I show respect and remember..... Freedom isn't free..
thank you for your presentation, it is so wonderful for a Canadian to spend even a minute in remembrance of our brave men and woman brought to war by our crooked and evil government. Thank you and God bless you!
Thank you for taking the time and effort for this beautiful and very informative video. Don't think I've ever heard about the history of how Memorial Day began.
Catch the Steve Bannon War Room tv show at 5 pm ET today. It was startedv by Southern officers in 1862 while the Civil War was raging. Bannon 's shows are full of war history. He went to Naval academy & knows his stuff.
The Conversation In the years following the bitter Civil War, a former Union general took a holiday (originated by former Confederates) and helped spread it across the entire country. The holiday was Memorial Day, an annual commemoration born in the former Confederate States in 1866 and adopted by the United States in 1868. It is a holiday in which the nation honors its military dead. Gen. John A. Logan, who headed the largest Union veterans’ fraternity at that time, the Grand Army of the Republic, is usually credited as being the originator of the holiday. Yet when General Logan established the holiday, he acknowledged its genesis among the Union’s former enemies, saying, “It was not too late for the Union men of the nation to follow the example of the people of the South.” The state that actually first adopted the holiday as Memorial Day was New York.
Angel I'm ashamed to say I wasn't aware of these facts. Thanks for the history lesson ! I really enjoyed that version of the battle hymn of the republic. Who was the artist ? 🇺🇲🇨🇦
Thank you Angel. Well done. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇩🇪🇯🇵🇫🇷🇬🇧🇮🇷🇮🇶🇦🇫 We common people befriend one another, don’t want wars, and deeply mourn our losses. There’s a special place in hell for those who orchestrate wars. Sorry about the rant. 💔Peace to all here. 🕊️
