A Windy Disaster! 

Angel in the early 1960's we use to ride up to Yosemite national park and camp, we had a sleeping bag on our sissy bar and a pot with a skillet in our saddle bags, we had 3 bears to come into our camp site, we banged garbage can lids to run the off, we slept on the ground, your breakfast was looking so good, thank you for sharing with us, thanks for the memories

I have to give you all the applause for having the gumption and courage to go camping by yourself! When I was a younger man, I camped out a few times. Tent, sleeping bag, hard ground, and cold. My camping days have been long gone since the mid eighties. Now as I look back, I have to wonder just what in the world possessed me to ever camp lol! I love walls, a roof, indoor plumbing, heat/ac, fridge coffee maker and stove. Finally, maybe you should include in your closing, if you like me or you like my bikes, or you like my old truck...Ride that Shovel and stay safe in your beautiful B.C.! Peace!

Been going camping since I was on a tricycle with my parents. One thing I could never get the hang of was getting the tent packed back up the way it came out of the bag.😂 Spent my adult years going camping at Lake Erie on the islands. Theres no better sleep you get than hearing the waves roll in, with a summer breeze blowing…..Until one of those Erie storms rolls in! THEN things get interesting.😂

I really enjoyed this. I’m probably your Dad’s age, and I STILL pack a bedroll, a change of clothes, blanket, sometimes a pup tent, old mil-surplus mosquito net, wood matches, hatchet, metal cup, instant coffee and soup, a potato, an onion, canteen, and old fashioned paper roadmap. It gets strapped on the HD and i go boon docking. It’s good for the soul to fall asleep under a zillion stars, serenaded by crickets and coyotes. And to wake up with the birds at first light. It’s “soul food.”

It's good to get out of your comfort zone. You did ok, considering the circumstances.

Angel! This episode is one of the funniest and most incredibly self made video of you camping in the wind. You are a brilliant being. Not much wonder since you are a ginger. Gingers are the fairest of us all. Vivaldi was a red head. Which, speaking of a music maker, your banjo music while doing things in stormy weather was just so right and added to the humour of your situation. You are a one woman film crew. And, with your funny and truly excellent banter made this a great way to get my morning going. I just returned from a two night campout in Radium Hot Springs. Rode out west in strong winds and dastardly weather with my gear on the back of my bike. Since I have camped pretty much my entire life, I believe I was actually conceived in a tent since my parents met whilst camping in the Netherlands I can camp anywhere. I further developed my camping skills in Boy Scouts. So, having a little more experience camping (I'm 73.5 btw) I recommend you first stake down your tent in the four corners and then assemble it. I commend you on figuring the thing out without the instructions which again shows people what a smarty pants you are. And, speaking of pants, your outfit really looked classy and fit the situation very well. Kudos to your dresser. Oh, yeah, that's you as well. Thanks, Angel for being in the world and bringing me great vibes from BC. Big hug coming at you from Red Deer.

Two necessary tips if you are going to relax in nature with a campfire: Always take a tourist gas cylinder with you (it is sold in almost all stores) and a special burner with ignition for it (it is put on a gas cylinder, this is not a simple lighter for a fireplace like you have in this video). And the second tip: if you need a fire just to keep warm or dry your clothes, then take a simple soap, it is cut into small pieces and mixed with a small amount of gasoline - this is a very good mixture that sets fire even to damp wood. Take care of yourself!❤

As a young man, I used to camp, with my girlfriend, off a sporty!!!! many times! Always in the mountains to cut the wind, pup tent, fold down laundry basket and plastic bag for a cooler. Sleeping bag 😂

Wind and water, the two most powerful forces on the planet. Neither of which are conducive to great camping memories unless you learn to enjoy and work with them. Good afternoon Miss Angel, As you know from pictures I emailed you my camper has seen a ton of rain here in Missouri. Even today I've ridden in the rain to go do laundry. I've spent many a night under a tarp beside my motorcycles. It's the crawling my old bones out of the covers or fart sack alone in the morning that hurts the worst. Thank You for the video Sweet Beauty! I'm sure not all was bad. I'll be enjoying these twisty roads back to the camper in a bit, pray the other drivers stay in their lane. The wind isn't so bad if you have another person to help set up camp, but alone it isn't fun. Setting up camp in the rain, now that is really not fun but so satisfying when you can finally get into the tent and out of the rain. I've decided I am going to get a Wingman of the road tent for my bike. They are pricey but durable and they look really easy to set up.

Red, what was the purpose of this. Trailers or bigger slide in campers solve a lot of issues….heat,cooling,shower, cooking, tables,windbreak,beds,sink…oh yep a bathroom with all neccessities ! Yep, they cost more. Look at a teardrop trailer, cook outside, sleep inside. However, no doubt in my mind, you could survive this, no doubt 👍💕

Angel, was it windy 🌬️ today, 😂, you could do with a 3 legged tripod for your camera they normally have a hook underneath, where you can attach a weight, to make the tripod more stable, back in the 90s I went to an event in Woolacombe in the UK, Actually, gorgeous weather when arrived on Thursday night, but Saturday night all hell let loose, the wind was so strong coming off the sea, The tent was being blown flat on top of us, my young lady who was with me at the time, thought that I was hitting her and waking her up, it wasn’t it was the tent coming down on top of us, the next morning, there was a few problems with peoples bike being blown over during the night, luckily mine was okay, But there was significant damage to the campsite as well, The joys of camping, 🏕️, looking 👀 forward to the swap meet, stay safe, don’t let the wind get you down, 😂❤, France.

That was hilarious, constant complaining and then I should buy more camping gear and do this more often 😅 all in jest Red, the 56 Pan looks great in that color scheme, I have one and that year is one of my least favorite factory paint schemes but it looks very nice I do like the natural campground

I don't enjoy camping. I have spent the night in some motels that made me wish I did, though! As long as I have my redheaded wife and our redheaded dog I will sleep anywhere they say. I call that home.

Hmmm! OK, I will admit, that while I mostly want to be on my old Road King, my go to camping bike is a WR250R. You may have to get yourself a little "off roader" and do some camping on it. It would be fun as a viewer to see you camping on your little "woods bike". Your ending tag line would have to change a little. Yeah. You definitely need some more camping gear. You should look on RU-vid. There's a guy that rides and camps. He talks about camping gear that's good for on a bike. In the words of Stewie Griffin: If you cooked any more slowly, you wouldn't need an egg timer. You'd need an egg calendar.
