As someone who does a 60 hour fast once a month, complaining about the meal service is laughable. Id be super happy to get what they have to offer! If you somehow cant survive with 8 hours of no food, bring your own sandwhich or whatever or consider fasting for the heqlth benefit.
I'm flying with Royal Brunei and only have 1hr to change flight. Does anyone have experience with such a short transit? Am I enough timing to change the flight ?
FA. Dorlia was on my flight from SFO to TPE last week (watch my video on that too)! She's super nice. For a new airline, JX has done so much to surprise me. Keep surprising, and I can see myself switching from JL to JX.
Wow. Thank you for making and sharing this. I'm doing some research as I hope to fly Singapore Airlines soon from Auckland to Berlin via Singapore, and this was a great introduction!
Thanks for sharing your experience. I had a bad experience with customs in Medan as well. An officer called me into a small room and said it was CNY, did I bring any angpows for him? It was so out of the blue, but also I wasn't shocked or surprised because I had a similar experience before in another part of ID. I flat out told him no and then another officer came into the room and he said something like next time remember ya, cos it's CNY.
Nice review mate! 35C and 35D got smaller IFE 35B are better ife and seat on 35C yes there's premium economy which is 31-36 I guess they sold it as economy but mroe expensive
They got rid of their business class seats. Took a flight with them from KUL-Danang-KUL…first leg was fine but on the return flight, another passenger took my seat and the stewardesses didn’t even do anything so I sat in the seat in front of the seat stealer. Lousy airline! Also, glad to see you’re uploading more videos.
This particular A350, HS-THR along with HS-THQ are the 2 unique "35C" configured A350s. They are ex LATAM as have inherited the LATAM cabins. THAI only intend on using them on mid-haul routes. No other A350s in the fleet will have cabins like these 2. They are only on short-term leases with TG, expected to exit the fleet in around 2-3 years time.
Looks like a good one. I realised the newer A350's seat is literally shorter and the screen is smaller. Width is still the same. Thanks for posting. Hope to see some more trip reports from you.
It appears like TG has brought back their Thai dress uniform, which is nice to see. Yeah - I agree. I took TG 4 times, and they can be a hit or miss. My first 3 flights were an absolute banger, but the last one made them no different than your average American experience.
Indeed. The Thai Dress is the icon of the airlines. I notice lately many new, junior crew onboard. That's a good sign of it, energetic, friendly and cheerful vibes.
TG are in the process of making the Thai Dress uniform the standard uniform on all widebody flights. This means crew will wear them straight from home rather than wearing the suits and changing. This is already standard practice on flights with the numbers TG6xx and TG9xx. The roll-out is slower than expected due to production delays with the new Thai dresses but soon all crew on all widebody flights will wear Thai dresses only. The suit uniform will still be worn by crew on A320 flights though.
Your experience reminds me of how I almost got into trouble in Incheon because they thought that my vitamin supplement were illegal perscriptions/drugs lol. They wanted to see the doctor's letter, and since I was unable to provide it, they took it away, but we debated for a whole 10 mins. Upon arrival in Seattle, I got sick immediately lol. But corrupt officers....recently Indonesia got grilled because of that, too, lol. Nice video as always!
Flew the flight last month. Poor meal service. On board over 17 hours and only 2 meals in 17 hours. Flew economy. Would rather be told that in advance and pack your lunch for a third meal. Comes across as cheap and poor service. Most people eat 3 meals in 8 to 10 hours. Would not fly this route again on SQ
That’s a cool review. This particular A330 you flew on (DQ-FJP) was originally with Etihad Airways then it was leased to Air Seychelles before Fiji Airways acquired it. When it was with Fiji Airways, it retained the old Air Seychelles interior. Fiji Airways then phased out this plane and it’s sister unit (DQ-FJO) when the A350s were delivered.
I once flew Thai a350 from Australia to Bangkok shvarnabhumi, lovely experience (1. Kind and welcoming flight attendants (2. No turbulence and on-time arrival/departure (3. 10/10 Bonus+: got a look inside the cockpit/flight deck
