As my name suggested, Henschel and Porsche were the two famous German companies that involved in the tank productions during the WWII era. My channel mainly focuses on building and customizing both 1/16 scale display and radio control tank models as well as figures. All current videos will now feature the full detailed building and customizing stages of the models. In the days to come, race car models and diorama will also be included on my channel for your enjoyment so please stay tuned and subscribe to my channel.
I remember you can unscrew a lot of parts so you can open them up to work especially with the turret. The bottom hull might have to use force if they are not screwed on.
Excellent work, I am building this StuG now got the 1/16th scale bug after building Andy’ Hobby Sherman and getting some tips from your video. Amazing interior details, I’m not going to crazy with the interior have a couple figures that are going to be put in the open hatches. Thank you Sir, for the inspiration and vids!!
This is a very nice of this old RC tank. It looks great :) Im doing a complete overwhole to a Tiger 1 at the moment. Nice too that more people giving some love to RC tanks. Have a look on my channel if youre intrested. It will be Tiger 131
Thanks! I started many years ago with the Heng Long paint redo and found it fascinating that it could have been so much better when painted properly. Compared to building a much expensive Tamiya Tiger 1 , I could do five more tanks with that price, I also find out tamiya makes the tank less accurate when I started to dig deep inside the historical details, so now I mainly stay with static models. Will surely visit your site and happy modelling !!
@@henschelporsche1 thank you. I guess your right. Static models are great and not that huge projects like big RC. But I will do an 1:10 3d printed tank
Thank you very much !! Those chains could be purchased at hobby stores in various scales, Please share and subscribe for more German military models coming!
This is absolutely insane. And I mean it in the most beautiful sense of the word. The amount of detail is just incredible just fantastic. After watching this I decided to abandon any idea of doing anything similar. Well done.
Really thank you for your compliment!! I really don’t want to discourage you in any sense, to abandon your similar works. I started with something inferior and work my way up through practicing. You should make my video an inspiration instead of deterrences to your future project!! Hang in there !!😊
Excellent build, thanks for sharing video. Questions: 1. What is your base color yellow? 2. from your experience, do you think its possible to paint over Tamiya TS-80 flat clear coat? Directly over with new color, or first with fine primer. Sorry to ask questions in your video forum, but it’s difficult to find knowledgeable people to talk to for this hobby.
Hi, really thank you for your compliment! And no worries with your questions, I will be happy to answer all if I could. 1. The base colour I used was Tamiya XF-88 dark yellow 2. I like if better than 60 dark yellow 1 as it is more vibrant and less dull. 2. I don’t see any problem painting on the flat clear lacquer, even with acrylic paint it is still ok. I always use both on my models without issues. Of course putting a grey primer would provide a better adhesion to the cover paint but really up to you. Military models are ok to show flaws as it happens on the real tank during the chaotic environment. I hope you can share and subscribe to my channel.
@@henschelporsche1 Thanks very much for your reply, really appreciate you taking the time. I painted road wheels, lower hull, and rear hull with XF-60 ... and instantly didn't like it. But thought I should keep going, so flat clear coated it. It's a 1/16 Tamiya Tiger 1 RC model converting to a Mid Production version. I got frustrated trying to find parts, along with the XF-60 color ... and haven't touched it in two years. Just rebooted the project after seeing some models painted with XF-88, and figuring out if it's ok to repaint over the flat coat. Thanks for your answer, it helps carry my project forward.
Did you mean the exhaust pipe? The heated effect was painted with transparent blue + red+ orange on chrome. You can google pictures of any heated exhaust pipe for references in terms of the colour layers.
First thank you for your compliment! The colours used was Tamiya XF-57 Buff for sand, XF-5 (90%) + XF-58(10%), and XF-64 red brown. You can of course adjust as per your taste. Hope that helps, and please subscribe to my channel if you have not thanks!!
Wunderschönes Modell des PzIV H! Mit Ostketten würde der mir noch besser gefallen ohne die Seitenschürzen an der Wanne. Ist der RC Fähig? Klasse Teil ❤😍 #IlovePanzerIV ❤
Excellent modelling skills!! I wish I had seen this video before I started my Das Werk Stug! Well done - this has provided me with inspiration to adjust a couple of things on my model - trying to complete the ammo lockers and adding some extra interior detail along with the extra storage rack over the engine bay - thank you for posting.
Just stunning!!! the interior of your Hanomag looks like any AFV I drove in real life- you are a real talent! Thanks for sharing- I can't imagine how unnerving it is to transport one of those beautiful models to the show room floor!!
Thank you for your compliment!! I am very glad I could duplicate well the Hanomag interior although I have not seen a real one before. And I am strongly agree with you on bringing the models to the show was the most stressful operation ever! I had six of those 16th scale models it took me whole hour to pack them securely to the boxes, in fact I was the last one to leave the exhibition place because of the packing hassle 😂
@@henschelporsche1 I still lack time for hobbies, but from 2025 I hope to change that. At that time I also intend to get into the 1/16 scale. Your models inspire me a lot, I will learn the techniques , which you use and try them. I really like the improvements to the tools, you use real wood. I may have some questions, then let me ask them under the videos. Greetings Chris
Good to have you inspired to this hobby. I too have the same problem this year since I took on a full time job, you can tell I do not have that many videos coming unfortunately, but I hope I will try my best to squeeze in some time on weeknights, weekends especially summer would be hard to find times if you have kids. The two medals would surely help to boost up my morale hopefully to produce more in the coming days ! You are very welcome to ask questions if I could be of your help !
