Good example, except for one error; don't allow the fill bottom to empty. If all of the brake fluid empties out of the reservoir, air can get into the system and cause serious issues. Otherwise great video.
@@BayouSax I see what your getting at but the reservoir never went empty. If it did I definitely would have introduced air into the system. The fill bottle was simply topping off the reservoir as it gets low, but it never went empty. Thanks for the tip anyway.
@@s6juggs a good amount does go back into the sump pit once it shuts off but I just get pumped out the next time it runs. The builder should have installed a check valve or back flow preventer to stop this from happening. I've lived in the house for 5 years and it hasn't caused an issue.
To be honest I couldn't really say if it reduces bugs on the windshield. This truck was never a daily driver for me so I don't have a good gauge on how many bugs is the normal amount. I probably put this one 3-6 months after I got the truck. I do get bugs on the windshield, but I don't really have a frame of reference to compare it to. I just put it on for looks and I think it looks great. It's been a number of years now and it holding up well parked outside year around.
I’m having a problem where when I program a button it presses it non stop so it either goes all the way down or all the way up does anyone have a fix for this?
PO128 could be the coolant temperature sensor switch to the radiator fan. Turn on air conditioning and see if the fan turns on. If so, turn off air and let engine heat up past 200. If radiator fan doesn't come on it's the temperature sensor switch. If the engine never heats up much, the thermostat is stuck open. If it heats up and keeps going up, even after the engine fan comes on, the thermostat is stuck closed. All to be done with the air conditioning off.
the newer cars have codes which wires are ruined but many mechanics replace whole package costing $1500-6500 per occurrence. mom n pop car mechanics might be best. squirrel here not deterred by tobasco or peppermint or garlic. help! toyotas encase wires with environment friendly soy covering! a delicious food to rodents. you are a wonderful person not blaming the squirrel wanting to help them. its said mother squirrels always have another back up nest. i dont understand how babies would have survived running engine gets 200 degrees. i ordered a battery operated signal senser you attach to battery that deters them. we will see

1LC1 is usually because the softener dispenser is clogged and overflowing due to the stupid little disc in the line that gets plugged with softener. The water overflows and hits the leak sensor at the bottom of the unit. Quickest fix I've seen is steaming it through the dispenser. I'd open the line and remove the disc or it will happen again. All the disc is used for is to more evenly distribute the softener. Unnecessary! Or better yet, don't use softener at all. It's not good for the machine even though it's supposedly designed to use it. It's also not good for your fabrics or your skin. It is wax based chemicals and coats and gums up everything causing machine sensors to eventually malfunction and towels to be less absorbent, etc. Use a 1/4 to 1/2 cup of 5% normal household distilled white vinegar instead. You'll be amazed at the results and save all kinds of money on the softener itself, as vinegar is way cheaper. Also will save money in the long run on machine maintenance and new fabrics. This goes for Dryer sheets too. Although they are not as intrusive as the liquid softener. Great video!
I doubt it since the 2008 is 11th gen and the 2014 is 12th gen. Even if the tailgate dimensions are the same the latch mechanism could be slightly off causing it not to work.
I accidenlty installed it on my hdd, I can't do it anymore ,I had to move it over. Its so dumb. Its like playing Fallout newvegas on the ps3. It so long to load, the game almost feels unplayable. But I'm just spoiled on modern hardware. I used to enjoy videos a 240p cause my Pc coudln't handle 360p or 480p. 720p used to high definition.
Bro this is a great video! I bought this pneumatic bleeder last year. I changed both front calipers on my 2013 Honda Fit and man they were so tough to bleed the 2 person old fashioned way. This vacuum bleeder worked awesome.
Wait so does that mean my actuall remote start is broken??? Or is it just doing that because it’s another way of telling me that the engine light is on due to something that needs to be fixed?
The car is designed to not remote start if the check engine light is on for any reason. There are tons that things that could be wrong with your car to make the check engine light come on, but once its on the car wont remote start. This is not a malfunction it is trying to stop damage from occurring. Depending on what wrong with car you could start it and still be in the house while the car destroys itself outside. If you were inside the car you could turn it off if you heard some bad noises coming from the car.
