I have been using a leaf blower as a dryer and ACS50, but that is a LOT of product on the bike. I had no idea you could use it on bodywork and the windscreen. I have been just using it on the metal bits. I only used it on the engine case, suspension, and chain. Thanks for the video!
Pfiou, even with your good explanations, it hard to understant x) KTM is very good everywhere but this time, they screw up with chain tension ^^ c mon guys, is it that complicate to make a handy and clear method ? haha. Thank you for this video anyway !
Hey mate great video. Although there is a big mistake in the way you've explained how these vests work. Let me quickly explain. The Electric vest has a sensor that will trigger the airbag based on a multitude of parameters that are being evaluated by an algorithm. One of this trigger is a MINIMUM SPEED THRESHOLD. Which means, if you are standing still at a red light and you get tailgated, the Electric vest will NOT INFLATE as it requires a minimum speed of 20km/h. That's the reason I chose to go for the mechanical one which suits best when using the vest for commuting. Cheers
@@bogdanzarnescu6579 what the hell is the fork sensor lol i've looked at this product for a while now and never heard of it. that would be a big game changer for me.
Unlike with upright forks, I think there might be issues with attaching the fork sensor to inverted fork structures. (The Helite fork sensor installation manual video only shows installation on upright forks.) How did you install the fork sensor on your Multistrada? Did you attach it above the fork mudguard to avoid interference? The manual advises against installing it above the fork, so I'm confused.
On all my bikes, I sort the alignment - checking along the chain, running the wheel to see if it runs true, and using vernier calipers to make sure both adjusters are aligned. Once you have that sorted, chain tension is a breeze - you just turn your adjuster screws one 'flat' at a time, making sure you add/remove the same number of 'flats' on both sides. Perfect tension, and perfect alignment - only time you need to realign is if you have new tyres fitted.
Thanks for the video, wanted to know I'd this worked after riding or did you have to switch them back to the lower ones. I through some of your videos and my be I missed it but I couldn't find an update on it.
Two questions how is the electronics riding in heavy rain ,and can you charge it up as you are riding, over all its a good bit of safety gear ,a good bit of money to buy ,but really what is your health worth if you want to ride
the "music" SUCKS!!! I can't concentrate on what you're saying as i'm being annoyed with that SHIT!! wanted to watch but just couldn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
holy fuck, i disassambled my 450SMR 2014 more than 3years ago, cause i wanted to install my new black kit with my graphics, i made a real mess in my garage and since than i didnt touch it anymore cause i had to much going on to go on track and i remember the pain with the airbox, but it gave me hope to see you struggle aswell, so this year i will finally assamble everything again! did you need new rivets, cause i remember this was the thing which stopped me, cause i didnt have rivets for the new airbox
Ducatti-when you've got a bike that sweet. I've sen some horrible rust bubbles and holes under bikes. Get down and get under it. Someone else recommended spray wax. Being a poor remter, I don't have a garage.
Good evening dear Triumph friend. I plan to get the same head fairing and therefore I would like to know, which in details clip ons you mounted in this last video. I hate to crush my back, therefore I would be glad to know this product. I will do it on my Thruxton 900 injection. Thanks dear friend, Ralph from Switzerland
Great video! I’ve been avoiding this upgrade on my 2016 Thruxton with the track kit in black. By any chance, did you add on the wireless charging pad? Would love to see a video showing the installation of the charging pad with the waterproof smart adapter.
What is your measurements and what size helite fits you? I am 5'9" to 5'10" and weigh 178 to 185 pounds. The medium fits me with a TINY bit of wiggle room on my revit jacket while the large fits me loose. Getting mixed fitting guides as many people either say go snugger and some say go looser...
If the title of the video was: i install a boosterplug on my duke 390 certainly would also suit the same "issues" thst I'm having with my duke! Just order my boosterplug expecting same results! Great video and amazing bike! Congratulations ❤😊
Awesome video, real straight to the point and informative 👌🏻I've just ordered an e turtle from sports bike shop, but I've noticed they've discontinued the fork sensor? Have you heard why? Thank you 👍🏻
Not discontinued, just in short supply for a little while. One of the Helite UK guys was on the teapot one podcast recently and he specifically mentioned a supply problem with the fork sensor but said it is coming back into stock.
Thanks for the video. I am concerned that the back protector looks like it is rigid. If so, I doubt it can be stored in a top box when off the bike. That would make it unusable for me.
Excellent explanation of the E-Air bag. The best and most informative I have seen and has convinced me that I need the 'E' version of the Turtle jacket and not the lanyard version or in fact the back pack. I will be off to Sportsbike shop to check them out. Many thanks
I have two summer jackets, both with back protectors. I don't know if would be better to remove the jackets back protectors and keep the helite back protector or to keep jackets back protectors and remove the helite back protector ( more comfy).
If you have the new turtle, on their website helite recommends removing the back protector from your jacket and keeping theirs. The reason for this is that their back protector is over the airbag so it better disperses any impact.
Invaluable vid for those of us looking to get an eTurtle. I'm sorry for the scuffing on your fork but at least it will help us buyers to not make that mistake, if it makes you feel any better. Also at 3:23 i thought the vest will suddenly inflate and send your fist to your face 🤣
