Thinking about the Homestead Network and how awesome that was for it's season. Miss you guys doing regular livestreams and am STILL forever grateful Patti did her sourdough class way back when. I still have my (mature now) sourdough starter from that & only make our own bread since. Hope you both are well and life is good!
Personaly i dont think that mine will survive, the left and right side of his head was pecked alot by the mother who was dealing with the other newborns, i guess she rejected him since he was late 3 days before the newest chicken, (you can even see the skull on one side) i took him in to the other chicken who was sitting on the eggs, maybe he will heal, ill try to do something :/
Can i just use yeast instead of starter? I am confused on how to get enough starter ready if you do 24 sourdough bread rolls. Thanks i have a commercial kitchen where i do pickles. Pounds cakes not selling gread. Everyone loves bread.
Mine got mixed up with another chicks and the other mother noticed it's not hers went on harming it , it's breathing but deep wounds not opening the eyes🤦🏻♂️ I'm just hoping it will get better 😢
Canola oil is toxic. Research the way it's made. It was first used in the 50s as a petroleum product. Than some genius found a way to remove the toxins with chemicals. It came out really dark yellow so it is bleached before it is passed on to the consumer. It was never meant for human consumption. It is made from the rapeseed plant.
You have guts of steel to make a major boo-boo on a mega site like RU-vid..BUT I honor you because you just carried on (just like as in real life), you checked it, fixed it and went on. If it were me I would have not had the courage to post and I would have started over, (coward/insecure me.) You are amazing and it would be an honor to meet you somewhere in the universe...but I send gobs of love and as we say in Spanish here in New Mexico "Abrazos y besos!" (hugs and kisses.)❤🩵💜
True but it’s still fascinating to know about it! I’ve just learnt about the Kulning recently after playing a video game called bramble which has Swedish folklore involved and also the songs in the background resemble kulning a lot
Grubs taste fairly good as you just demonstrated. I’ve eaten many. As well as the worms in a somewhat difficult time. I’m a former “professional soldier” who’s spent time in a somewhat demanding location where supply drops by air wasn’t exactly consistent due to the environment we were in. But hey.. You’ll eat just about anything at times when it’s necessary. Even things that most cringe when touching. I give you a thumbs up my friend for demonstrating this. I have to admit though that I always make sure these little creatures aren’t squirming around before I eat them. I’m such a wimp when it comes to that part. 😊
Okra makes it lol. Been making a while now, I was out of crab boil, so took 1 anchovy filet from wife's anchovies lol, I don't like anchovies but as seasoning ok. Was really good. Wonder what else can try in this? Isn't it funny how inexpensive this is but wouldn't know it lol. Tyvm tc
I love your Sourdough Cinnamon Roll recipe! My DIL asked me to make Sourdough Red Velvet Cinnamon Rolls. Have you every made them and could you guide me with this recipe?
Whatever you call it, opening your vocal cords the create sustained frequencies that travel, is really the most efficient way to get animals in. Looking after cattle taught me what my singing voice was. It started as 'come on' as loud as possible, and over the years it's just lovely to go out and bellow melodies.
I have a crippled chicken. She's a real nice girl. She's 2 years old now. I would keep an eye out for her to get egg bound I'm the future. Other then that one of r the best chickens I've ever had. He name is webosa (webos wables ) 0:02
OMFG I almost choked on my water lmao. Ah yes the ancient red neck tradition...easily passed down through generations since the family tree hasn't forked in ages.
Adding salt with the yeast will weaken ans kill the yeast. Sugar water and yeast wait ten mins for it too start fermentation then add salt when the flour is added i was taught.
