I love adding peach jam to my pantry shelves! I use it for so many things making my barbecue sauces, adding it to a chili sauce for my meatballs at Christmas time, my pork spare ribs,so many different recipes! thank you for being a part of Canuary collaboration!❤️

I've always thought that in order to can food they needed to be fresh. It is amazing to realize that it is possible to empty our freezer by canning what's already in there! This Canuary has been so enlightening 😍

I have peaches in my freezer from last summer as well AND I need more jam, so I will be doing this today! Or tomorrow, I am also making some of the Salisbury Steak Linda made for Canuary LOL! Thanks to all of you ladies for so much inspiration! :)

Your video took me down memory lane. My cousins had peach orchards in Palisade CO. We would go in after the commerical pickers and pick ripe off the tree peaches that my mom would can. Thank you for your contribution to Canuary 2023! I've so enjoyed all the videos.

Hi! I am from Georgia, the Peach State, so I love your recipe for Peach Jam/Jelly. I have never heard of calcium water. I have learned sometime today. Thank you for sharing your jam recipe. I learned the hard way that a deeper pot is much better than shorter pans. One bubble of burning jelly on your arm is all it takes! I absolutely love the dishpan to keep your jars hot. I am going to use this tip forever and ever, moving forward!!! I didn't know about using frozen fruit for jam or jelly. What a great idea! Happy canning...

I agree with JJS , I never thought of freezing food during the summer season to can in the winter until Canuary. This idea came in so handy this year when it was time to clean out the freezer for the upcomming deer season. Thank you all for the inspiration!

I've never used Pomona's pectin so I appreciate seeing how it's used. I have 2 peach trees and am always looking for ways to preserve them. Love peach jam. I do the same thing. It’s too hot to can peach jam in August so I freeze my peaches and can it during Canuary. Not only does it make your house smell like summer, it warms it up too. My Peach Cobbler Jam is my daughter’s favorite.🍑 Thank you Leisa and Forjars for sponsoring Canuary 2023.

I have never seen this kind of pectin used before. Learn something new every day. I liked seeing the way you used the jam at the end also. I love peach cobbler. The tip for keeping your jars hot was great too.

What a great recipe. I never stop learning through all the Canuary recipes. I never thought about using frozen fruit. Your keeping the hot jars in a tub with a bit of hot water is a genius idea. I loved making peach preserves with my grandma when I was a kid. And it’s my favorite jam. I like that you can use less sugar with the Pomona pectin.

I live in the north Georgia mountains where peaches are plentiful come June & July, I will be ready to can some up using your recipe.
