As someone who hasn't read the books [I will, I promise!!!!], the music alone when he hears Gandalf, and you see his sourness go away and his joyous spirit exhume as he begins to laugh as soon as he opens the door... I don't know, it makes my heart skip a beat and I can't help by cry happy tears........ "Tea time is at 4." <3
Bilbo was the only one who was able to let go of the ring by will Bilbo gave most of the gold he earned to the people and wasn’t affected by the Dragon sickness He had friends unlike Gollum
My dad showed me the LotR trilogy when i was very young, so when we went to see the finale of this trilogy me and my dad shed tears at this scene. I just can't bring myself to hate these movies
Dwarves do not understand Black Speech. There’s no way that anyone can know what Azog is saying here. The subtitles are pointless in letting us know what he’s saying when the people he’s truly talking to don’t know.
Hobbit Battle of Five Armies Post Credits Scene (how I think it would have turned out if a post credits scene was added to the film) Cut to the unfinished tower of Baradhur Sauron (in the Black Speech): Years of planning, months of secrecy, weeks of hunting, (long pause), and now YOU TELL ME THAT AZOG THE DEFILER HAS FAILED TO TAKE THE MOUNTAIN?!!! Surviving orc lieutenant (cowering in fear) : But my lord, did not Azog kill Thorin Oakenshield... Sauron (Black Speech): YOU FOOL (striking the orc backwards with his incorporal form) Sauron (Black Speech): While the son of Thrain perishes, the line of the dwarves lives on through the son of Nain. Not only has he become King under the Mountain, we have lost a great ally with the death of SMAUG! Orc Lieutenant: Yes my lord, I heard he was killed by a man of Laketown, or a former descandent of... (Orc was smacked once more by Sauron) Sauron: I KNOW WHOM YOU SPEAK OF, THE DESCANDENT OF GIRION, THE REMNANTS OF THAT ACCURSED CITY NEAR THE MOUNTAIN, THEY SHALL PAY FOR THEIR ISOLENCE!!! Sauron (slowing turning towards the orc): And for your failure, you will be reduced to the foul pit from whence you CAME! With these words, the Orc convulsed and exploded, black oozing blood splattered all over the chamber Sauron (in Black Speech): WITCH-KING!!! The Witch-King of Angmar approaches (in Black Speech): You summoned me my lord Sauron (in Black Speech): Go forth to the East and pay tribute to the Easterlings, tell them they have the choice, to either surrender or die. Afterwards, send them to emcamp upon the Sea of Rhun, I will see to it that they destroy the homes of those meddlesome dwarves and men The Witch-King of Angmar: As you wish, and what of the elves of Mirkwood? Sauron: They too shall pay, but I have something else in mind for them, now GO! Witch-King exits, enter the mouth of Sauron Sauron: What is it? Mouth of Sauron (Black Speech): My lord, someone has requested for you to come out and face him. Sauron: It is not my concern, I have yet to be back to full strength, command the Nazgul to... Mouth of Sauron: My lord, it is one of the Zigur. Sauron (after long pause): which one is it? Mouth of Sauron: I know not, but when he demanded for you to face him, he said that he has come on behalf of the lords of the West to redeem the pride of one called Aule. Sauron (after another long pause): Tell me, is this zigur drapped in white? Mouth of Sauron: Yes my lord, yet he carries a black staff Sauron smiles, though none could see it in his non-corporal form, a plan was already working in his dark thoughts
Such a perfect way to end the hobbit. I personally wasn't a large fan of this specific movie as I felt they could of done it in two movies instead of including a lot of filler scenes. this scene though as epic.
Its been almost 10 years since this movie came out, most people hated it, but for me it has a special place, It was also sad because this was last Peter Jackson Movie, and he said he isnt going to do more LOTR or hobbit movies, and Billy Boyd singing in credits was perfect, Last Goodbye song, for the last goodbye from amazing stories. LOTR changed me into a person I am today, and once a year I watch them all. RIP Sir Ian and Sir Christopher, also Christopher Tolkien, who changed the world by helping finish his fathers work. Legends of this world.
Martin Freeman did an absolutely outstanding job of conveying how terrifying the Ring is just after the 1 minute mark here. It slips little thoughts and desires into your mind when you're not looking, playing on what it already finds there and twisting it for its own ends. When he puts the pictures of his parents back and steps back to admire them, you can see his face change, as if he suddenly feels the urge to pull the Ring out and admire _it_ as well, then catches himself and thinks, "now hold on, where did _that_ come from? And there it is again! Why do I want to hold it? Maybe if I just ignore it and look out the window, the urge will pass." But it doesn't. It just keeps getting stronger, like an itch.
"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve" has a new flavor after you see what they did to Bag End.
The best ending part of the story of the trilogy in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies where this story ends linking up to the main events and upcoming adventure where The Lord of the Rings takes place chronologically from beginning to end believing how those movies will forever lived on in our hearts and minds for all eternity.
Like the death of several Lords the Southern Fiefs (or sons of Lords) in the Battle of Pelennor Fields (possibly leaving Imrahil or Aragorn taking control of them), how convenient Tolkien solves a possible differences between dwarves just killing all of them that can be before Dain in Erebor's succession line
