RU-vid is scary. It recommend me this video after I buy SpaceX' Starlink. Now I have 3 internet connection needs to be aggregated (Fiber, Starlink, and 5G SIM) and it is 'scary' expensive overall.
Man, just treat your wife with a MacBook Air. Come on. Unless she is reluctant to learn a new OS I like how other people are still in that previous mindset like you were and thinking PC is better… but what can you do right! Not my monkey, not my circus.
I own 43 miniled and its size is terrible. I work on 70% resize due to "menu". Maybe somebody > 190cm height will use normal 100% with 42 inches but not average person. I cannot imagine how to use 55. My next monitor will be 32-34 inches, because its the best size on desk. Probably curved ultra-wide monitors about 49 inch could fit for productivity. but 55 16:9? man, you need constantly look up for the "menu" and other things above your head. its just not correct and will hurt your body in couple months.
Mac never DISTURBS you with forced reboot / forced update / ads because it respects you gotta freaking work. Used Windows 3.1 95 NT XP Vista 10 for years. They never change the worst part in the OS which is CONSTANTLY INTERRUPTING you. I stay away from anything MicroSoft as much as possible now. Fresh install means spending hours disabling the tonne of crap that comes with Windows.
Are you telling me that i should buy a Sony a9III and shoot at 120 FPS on auto mode so I don't need to do anything else for the rest of my life? Every moment will be captured with the "best exposure" possible, then the AI will select the piures, frame them and do the color grading, even maybe the retouch and then I just need to send it by email to my client? Just a little question more... should I know how to take pictures or its optional?
I've been doing this for 10 years; when I discovered by reading the specs that it's better than a "monitor" and it has speakers built in and I can watch tv also.
timesaver! ...but A.I. technology is advancing so quickly that i can see how the software will eventually take each subject in an image and treat it like an A.I. object - for example, in a family photo if the dad has his eyes inadvertently closed, the A.I. can 'open' his eyes or maybe change the expression of a crying child to a smiling one. it would just used all the images of the subjects as training dataset to manipulate an outcome. at THAT point, we start asking the question: where does the photographer's creativity and talents end and where does A.I.'s begin?
the absolute hardest of passes. Couple's dont pay thousands of dollars for wedding photos so AI can decide how they should look. They hire me for my culling eye and editing style. I wouldnt ever outsource any of these tasks to another human let alone AI. This stuff needs to stop.
Can someone please tell this low lvl noob (me) is this just for basic monitoring or are we including photo editing?.. What about all this tech spec specific mumbo like ips, lut, nits, ccr, dci-p3, hdr lvl, etc, etc ...I have a 55" 4k TCL tv already I can pair with my HP Omen 15 Ryzen 7 4800h, GTI 1660ti so I don't need to upgrade to a better ext monitor for image inference? Can order of importance list regarding ext display monitors for hyper-focused beginner trying assimilate info and confidently prioritize while successfully budgeting for gear without wasting time and $ ... Should I just save for more lens, cameras down the road once I've lvl'ed up and actually outside the tutorial zone? This seems like a trust worthy group ..How important is the display monitor for photo editing when learning?
The accessibility settings will let you customize text size and menu bar size, increase the size of the pointer, and more. If you can't find the pointer, shake the mouse and it will get bigger for a moment.
Why though? .. I think in 5 years everyone will be downloading ‘real’ filters which put the ‘humanity’ and noise back on all your overly smooth photos and videos.
Where this plugin falls down even more often is not moving through different lighting conditions, but moving from one camera distance-to-subject to another. The problem you get is that in one shot there is a blemish, and in another there is not, or a blemish pops in and out as you move toward a person. In pro work, it's not about the "average person" seeing a flicker or not, it's about a fussy client and network QC. In my world that kind of mole flickering would get you insta fired. All this to say: Best move is get it right in camera. Video is not stills, and video filters are not Photoshop..
Thanks for the review. Unfortunately I think all of the mics sound like crap. They sound like cheesy gateway laptop microphones. I’m sure they’re convenient but definitely not an sound improvement compared to traditional wireless lav systems
Interesting video. As you said you are no expert in Resolve. Unfortunately The Skin retouching Ai filters in Resolve Studio are much better than these in many ways and more powerful. And at $179 per filter two of these Filters cost more than the Studio version of Resolve. You would have to be crazy to buy these filters over the Resolve Studio with the many many other benefits included.
I’m sorry but the edits made your photos look like 2000’s style HDR. Maybe a different profile would have worked better but honestly all of the edits look awful to me
Their plugins are amazing and a great timesaver. I use all of their Photoshop plugins literally almost everyday. Though I have not tried their video plugins yet.
The water & sand sculptures were popular in the 80s. The problem is that after a bit of time, the water evaporates leaving more air behind. You can refill them but it is a tricky balance between getting air out while adding air. Too much in either direction at once and the glass will crack or shatter.
If you have an inkjet printer go to the length of installing a Linux machine as your print server. A lot of the trash that these scammers put into their products is in the driver code. Since Linux has open source drivers, with Linux, you will avoid a lot of the trash that goes into the drivers. As an example, I have Canon MX360 which I am using fairly regularly with refilled cartridges. I have absolutely no issues since the Linux drivers for the printer are free from the scamming trash that comes with the Windows drivers. As the absolute best solution, just go full Linux for all your devices and you're good.
I moved to MacOS back in 2020 when m1 was released and I love it. Super Clean UI, works great no issues. I manly use Microsoft Office and I got to the point that I am missing a lot of future. I might have to go back to Windows unfortunately.
This is the first time I would have chosen Patrick’s images. Pye’s images were just to generic, totally average. Also, Patrick did a great job with clothing, I was surprised how good they worked. 🙂
8:05 The software ONLY works if you have Lightroom or Photoshop or Bridge or Capture1. If you don't have any of those you can't even see if the editing part works at all... No jpg exports, no previews inside Aftershoot. Support told me that most of the AI editing sliders are based on LR. I can try to read the edits from the XMP on other apps, but it may be incompatible. And it is incompatible. Can't do anything with Affinity Photo or Darktable. And I get that +1 Saturation from one software to another could lead to different results, therefor all other software will probably read the XMP but take no action. Welp, I just hope the uninstallation and deleting the account is easy. Edit: There is no way to delete the account from the website. I'll have to send an email and politely ask to. I could have saved a couple hours if it was clear at 8:05 that this software works only with Adobe and C1. How is it still legal to not have a delete my account button on websites?
Thank you for writing this comment i was about to hit send. but thankfully i use multiple monitors and was scrolling the comments while checking out their site. you are a god send. subscription is a no. no real exports is a no.
