Hi, I'd like an island with only all deep drawers (no cupboards) is it possible you could let me know what I've to look out for when purchasing? Thankyou for the video - your island is beautiful.
What you're seeing there is: Ikea cabinets 15X24X30 21X15X30 21X15X30 15X24X30 Keep in mind, Ikea does not sell 21X15 drawer, so in this case we bought 21X24 and 24X15 and made 1 drawer from the two. That's if you want to have drawers in the middle cabinets. If you want to make the island using Ikea cabinets: 15X24X30 24X15X30 24X15X30 15X24X30 then you should have no problems - Ikea sells drawers for all those cabinets.

Great video, I was just wondering where is the best location to install the electrical receptacle in the back of the lower drawers so it does not interfere with the drawers?

If this shelf is the same, then it’s easy to add it, drill a hole for the pin in the place where you want it. But there is little space left between the shelves
i cannot get this to close properly - i think Ikea has given me the incorrect panel to put on the drawers- i have a 12"X24X30 Maximera and they gave me a stensund panel that is art # 404.532.64 - after some research i think i need an AXSTAD door 12X30- any help is greatly appreciated - i am beyond done with this set up. Taken it apart and reassembled multiple times. I have set up many Ikea items in the past and never had any issues like this. Thanks
Єдине нормальне в цьому це нижні тумби. Решта фігня повна. У верхніх тумбах світло буде світити постійно. Поки хтось не залізе на тумбу і не виключить його, це не зручно.

Wanting to fit an ikea kitchen, only problem is the radiator pipe work runs across the bottom of the wall , so would have to cut each cabinet 3cm in each side , but would mean pipes would be visible inside the bottom of the cupboards. Can you suggest another solution plz
Omg thanks 🙏 it will help been sitting in spot for over 2 months the task rabbit i ordered 3 times somehow did not get through. Dont you wish we could use the whole soace by using a hack saw to cut those tiny walls on side and the top to get a real closet space easy to reach in ??? I sure dream of it , its happening here lol 😂
It looks really good! Did you just screw every cabinet (above the island) with 4 screws and washers to the ceiling? I know ikea doesn't "allow" that and i have the same situation in my place:)
Yes, Ikea doesn’t allow you to do that, I did it for myself, at my own risk. I added more screws to the side, more than Ikea provides, added nails to the back skin and screwed it to the ceiling through washers.
This is exactly how my vintage cabinets are laid out that im replacing, but the current ones I have that hang from the ceiling have doors on both sides. Is that possible with the ikea cabinets?
