the concordes way too expensive 8 thousand dollars for flight of one person, too few people could afford it, and it was better shutted down since the plane is very problematic high maintenance and very expensive fuel.
What a great Aircraft. Instead of improving this Aircraft more or 2:38 forwarding towards more better Aircrafts like that, this unique achievement was stopped. We are still flying at the speed of 60's and 70's era. Now a days when more and more advanced cars like Hybrid or totally moving on batteries, Aircrafts are still flying in past.
@@paulhorn2665 Actually it was their most successful ad campaign ever. It ranked 62 on The 100 Greatest TV Ads television in a poll conducted by Channel 4 and The Sunday Times. It ranked higher on ITV1's "ITV's Best Ads Ever" programme aired in 2005, ranking at number 15. Stupid you.
I remember giving way to a Concorde at this very spot in the 90s. A real honour and not a waste of time at all. I don’t remember the tug though, I am probably mis remembering as I was so fixated with the majesty of the aeroplane.
You are a Yenghi, YES? It is not surprising you don't know about European cars, because you think your SUV trucks, and your land-yachts are cars as well. They ain't. And you filmed a FIAT TOPOLINO. A RUINED ONE. ONE RUINED BY A YENGHI THICKO.
This excellent piece shows what an utter clown Nicolson is, he’s our MP and is completely hopeless as is Fairlie who is our MSP, who voted in these idiots 🤷🏻♂️
This is the John Nicholson who lost his East Dunbartonshire seat but at the next election was installed in Ochil and South Perthshire for his beloved SNP Party where he remains in 2023….
I was on her in may 1987 and we done a fly past of Edinburgh airport it was wonderful just wonderful it was G-BOAG Which is in Seattle now it was an experience flight
G-BOAE, she'd later slot in ahead of G-BOAF (back after flying round the Bay of Biscay) and G-BOAG (operating the last Concorde BA002 from New York) over London and be the first of the three Concordes to land in succesion as part of the final send off for British Airways' Concorde service.
