Because of the delta wings, when moving slowly just before landing, the aircraft has to approach at a steeper angle than regular winged aircraft. The long nose prevents a proper view of the runway, so they made it so the pilots could drop the nose to see the runway properly.
she's happier in her new birdcage, went yesterday 27/5/2018, and it's a good show, lots to see, and you can go aboard, and get close to the controls ( unbelievable) and much more besides.
What a great Aircraft. Instead of improving this Aircraft more or 2:38 forwarding towards more better Aircrafts like that, this unique achievement was stopped. We are still flying at the speed of 60's and 70's era. Now a days when more and more advanced cars like Hybrid or totally moving on batteries, Aircrafts are still flying in past.
In the olden days of 2003 you had a video camera on a tripod and a separate camera for photography. So I’d imagine the video is stationary as photos are taken. In another lifetime ago 1994 I was lucky enough to travel on CONCORDE G-BOAD at Mach 2. Went back to see her in New York were she is preserved
Oh no - that honour goes to the twonk that shot your "My New Ringtone" video (over-exposed, out of focus, and that attempt at facial hair looks like it came from an Original Series Klingon Beard & Tash kit from Hasbro). Have a nice day!
the concordes way too expensive 8 thousand dollars for flight of one person, too few people could afford it, and it was better shutted down since the plane is very problematic high maintenance and very expensive fuel.
