I must create a system or be enslaved by another mans; I will not reason and compare: my business is to create. - William Blake
Sometimes I think all great swordsmen are the same like samul from the game metal gear rising revenges or yasou from league of legends or zoro from one piece they all are great swordsmen
Great message, I will try to make sense of all this, I'm new to bettering my life, although I'm old enough to know better, but just never implemented these things. So I will start over again.
Jung never used the idea/term of "subconscious." That is a Freudian term/idea. CG Jung employed the term/idea of Unconscious, the implications are endless. In addition, the narrator conflates the idea of Suppression and Repression. They are not the same experiences. Many other mistakes as well.
He is extraordinary because through what he wrote, he still helps people to overcome their suffering. Too many people, sadly, believe that a worthless person sharing bullshit and random stories is instead. That's bad for them, to be so blind, which in turn makes me sad.
I want to bet a little of track and say that Galileo being execute was a myth and that he merely was sent to house arrest. I don't really know why but I think its because he was mocking the pope.
Marcus Aurelius is just rare breed imagine being emperor and have the power to do anything but instead chosing the path of self discipline its truly astonishing
I have found my other self. It was beside the all the time. I got used to living alone. Not that bad at all. And nobody knows we are together. They don’t need to know.
-have a reason to do what you do. -make a plan and just focus on the steps in front of you and the actions that are in your control every day. -practice delayed gratification and voluntary hardships. -review your day honestly with no excuses, forgive your mistakes and just focus on the next day.
Good stuff. Jim Tully stole one of a two-volume set of Dostoevsky, and was EXTREEMLY upset with himself he did not have enough sense to steal both volumes. Tully is a good forgotten author influenced by Dostoevsky. The version I read about the firing squad was that it was planned from the beginning not to kill the prisoners, but rather inflict much mental pain and punish them psychologically.
This concept has a lot of things in common with stoicism. focus on things we can control and let nature do the rest (since most things are out of our control), and don't force those things (those are out of our control anyway). Amor fati (love of fate).
Was Dostoyevsky also making a political statement regarding western nations (or another colonizer currently in the news)? Like Raskolnikov they rationalized elimination and theft of the 'less worthy' and anyone else that got in the way. Would Dostoyevsky see redemption of the west as impossible, given the its lack of guilt and love -- like a Jack Torrance (The Shining) character, possessed by the ghosts of the past and the banal 'obligation to fulfill his duties'?

i think the biggest take away for me is the part about would you make the same decision innumeral times. i think traning your mind to first think that jis the first step to culitvate an attitude where you only do things that give you meaning.
This makes me laugh! Some of these findings are flawed solely based on a certain psychoanalysis of specific people type. There are young people who displays evidences of maturity without reaching the "sunset" age. Also, in their proper upbringing by good parenting, they will avoid having an egotistical personality that those who allow themselves to fall under peer-pressure by immature and naive people. I believe Jungian Philosophy exhibits results of Partiality type of Analysis to justify his subjective worldview.
