EXCELLENT REVIEW. BRILLIANTLY EXPLAINED AND DEMONSTRATED IN SIMPLE TERMS. EVEN A TOTAL AMATEUR LIKE ME GAINED AN UNDERSTANDING OF HOW TO OPERATE THIS AWESOME LITTLE LOOPER. PERFECT FOR MY NON TECHNICAL SKILL LEVEL AND MY PREFERENCE FOR A SIMPLE SET UP WITH MINIMALIST PEDALS. 😊
I own the exact same guitar. The pickups are marginal. I replaced mine with Gibson Classic 57's. That single thing brought this guitar to life. I play this guitar more than my 1997 PRS Custom 25. I was gonna buy a Gibson ES-339, now I don't have to. I really enjoy playing this guitar & when people hear it they can't believe it's a Ibanez.
Really? You dont have couple right? You never get to the point... People around must get asleep... just bla, bla ,bla for 15 mins. If you dont have a point of view ir or give value to your words you are pointless. By the way... the dog slept. 😂😂😂
@@MarlonGibbons would you consider it safe to use live, only connected throught the cab sim (phones output)? Or did you find it too bad to replace an amp? I'm asking this because I ordered this pedal and, while I'm waiting, I'm still not convinced I made a good choice.
The reverb is unusable. And u cannot plug a distortion pedal as there no send&return. I wouldn't recommend this to gigs. Only fit for a child. Dont listen to youtubes there not honest. Or simply have no idea at al(
Hi I love your content you help tremendously. I write songs but I don't have a music producer so I started creating music on bandlab. I utilize a lot of loops just to have an idea of how my songs sound completed. I feel like I write hit songs. I just subscribed to your channel today . Hopefully one day I can land a spot on a show or something. Thanks so much for your knowledge. ❤
Marlon - I'm sorry to hear this news because I've really enjoyed and learned a lot from your videos. I'm trying to learn more about sync licensing, and you have been one of the most helpful people on my journey. I hope you will consider leaving your outstanding collection of videos online for reference. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
Thank you Marlon. This channel changed the direction of my music career, and I’ll be always grateful, and will remember every word and thoughts you shared here. Thanks for the inspiration, and motivation to keep going. Let’s have a call soon please. Take care brother.
Marlon! Sad to see you go, but SO grateful for everything you have shared with us over the years! Your channel was one of the first resources I found when I started my journey around 6 years ago. Crazy how the time flies. Hope all is well with you and the family! Thanks again for all of the knowledge you've shared 🙏
It’s overwhelming reading all these amazing and supportive comments. Truly, thank you all so much. You’re gonna make me second guess my decision, lol. It’s these kinds of connections (your comments of you sharing what this channel, as small as it is, meant to you). What an amazing, group of people. Thank you.
Thank you for the inspiration to keep going with synce licensing and getting better as a producer / composer. I still follow you on Instagram but 8 do hope to cross paths with you so I can shake your hand and thank you face to face. Blessings to you and your family brother.
I really appreciate that. Also you giving your time. I keep thinking how amazing it would be to publicly meet so many of you, You never know, I guess. Thank you for the support. All the best!
I'll leave the videos up for a while. I'm sorry about the timing. Wishing you all the best. check out @52cues Dave, Shannon and that community are some of the best people out there. TONS of great information about the Sync Industry.
Well done Marlon. You provided some great insight over the years. A huge help to many composers trying to find their way in this industry. Best of luck going forward and thank you for your time and knowledge.
That's just it. The channel kind of morphed into exactly that. Just a simple resource for the basics. I'm glad it was of value to even just a few! Wishing you the best, Brian!
Sorry to see this video. As lots of people have said below your channel has been great to watch and follow your journey and hear your experiences and advice. All the best to you and your family for the future. :)
WE THANK YOU Marlon, my brother! Your time is so important so it's only logical! I've got to know you from this channel so it's kind of sweet and bitter but I know how valuable your time is. Do what you have to do brother, we all thank you!
You really have become like family to me! I appreciate you. Not only are you a super-composer but one of the most genuine people I know. (Ok, so Greece, London, Scotland, many US States... my travel list is growing, gonna have to start a Go-Fund Me, lol. (KIDDING!)
I believe that most who are watching you over the years will agree that you are one of the coolest and chilliest creators in RU-vid. Don't know how many years I've subscribed to your channel but I'm really sure that your videos had great value. Not only the ones with great information but also the ones that you just hangout either in the studio with your coffee(?) or outdoors. Thank you so much for everything and I wish you all my best for the future. P.s I understand that you want a closure and that's why you will shut the channel but consider keeping for as long as possible, the videos you made worth it.
This means so much. Especially these comments from longtime subs. Sitting here in the studio (with Coffee)) as I type this. I never considered myself a "RU-vidr" per say. I always stayed away from clickbait titles and controversial topics (even tho they would have brought me more views) it really was my intent, just to bring you all into my space, as genuinely as possible and just hang out. Perhaps I'll leave the current videos up a bit longer as you and others have suggested. Who knows maybe one day I'll make a surprise appearance to say hello! Wishing you the best and Thank you, @manosapostolopoulos
Wow....Marlon....This comes really unexpected...And we can see that it's not an easy thing for you to do and talk about! Man...Thank YOU for your great advices and tips. I've learned a lot from you...Not only about Sync Licensing. You are such a nice and humble man, and I wish nothing but the best for you in the future! We will stay in contact! Cheers my freind!
@@MarlonGibbons - Hopefully you'll leave your channel up as there's a lot of valuable information there (and I've only scratched the surface so I'm still playing catch-up :) Not to mention, if down the road you miss creating content and sharing it with others you don't have to rebuild your channel from scratch. Regardless of where your future lies, I'm glad I found your channel Marlon and will continue to explore your videos. Thanks again.
Great work Marlon, I didn't watch every episode but i saw many. I wish you every success and you deserve the success you have achieved. You Obviously are doing what you love to do. You are very talented fellow with music in your soul thank you for sharing that and some of the tricks of the trade with us all. Proud of you and happy to have had the opportunity to make music together. All the best to you and family!!
Hey Vic! I really appreciate that! I hope you and the family are well! And I agree, it's been awesome to have played music with you. Perhaps we'll get to again in the future.
I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say thank *YOU*! What's crazy is it's a season of change for so many of us and I know that the universe has amazing plans for you, my friend! And please do leave your older videos up for a while since they are so great and can help composers for years to come!
I appreciate you, my friend. You were there primary I was thinking about when I said there are so many incredible Sync Communities. You are one of the best!
oh, no, I'm fairly new, this is the first notification i remember receiving, & wow. Well, thank you. hopefully I can glean before things are removed. God bless you for your contributions & may your future be paved with grace prosperity!
Thank you! I'll leave them up for a while. Just keep in mind some of them are a few years old, just try to be mindful of the relevance of content. Some of my ideas and suggestions are now outdated as the industry has changed so much. Wishing you all the best and thank you.
Thank you. - I still remember - You're one of those rare savants, that can finger drum on the midi keyboard. Good feel too! hahaha.. Take care of yourself, and trust this is NOT goodbye, but just a 'phase'. - (Get a cat.) lol
You should leave it up just for views by possible prospects. But I get it. It can be time consuming and takes away from other important things. I will see you on the other interwebs and FB my friend. Cheers to you
Has been great all these years to be a part of this. Thanks for many years of help and inspiration. Wishing you many more years of success and I’ll see ya over on instagram as well 🫡
