Really? no racism i mean he probably in the city or some shit cuse there would be a bit of racism in the rural areas but that would just be like a week then after the locals aclimate to your existence it'll be like you've lived there your whole life.
Some of koreans in korea hates filipinos so much. But if you learned about the country and its people, you're just gonna choose stop being a racist. Ps: *his filipino accent was legit* lol. And if he went here just to learn English, I'd say his English is pretty decent.
I would definitely raise my child in the Philippines...instead of Korea without a doubt.....no contest!...and I'm a Korean American....most know the pitfalls of raising a child in Korea!
It's true that there's so many friendly in japan. However as a half black asian person. I experience that racist came from a bad person not country. I'm half nigerian filipino, as a black asian i also experience being victim of racism and stereotyping because i'm not asian enough for them. Same with usa that i'm not black enough because of being half asian. They said one of the most friendly person countries are philippines & japan. And it's true because i'm not so many very kind and very friendly people there. However, i still met so many racist people there who insulting me. Same with korea & california, they said there's so many races people in california and korea. Well it's true i agree on that. However, i also met so very kind and very friendly person in california and korea to. They don't discriminate me as asian enough or black enough for them. Also i met a black asian korean from korea, she became my friend and her friend and the family treat her as equal. So you see, if i met so many friendly and very kind people in very racist country. And i met so many racist people in most friendly and very kind country. So it's means don't generalize them, don't expect too much so you're not being disappointed. Disclaimer i'm not generalizing them because there's still very kind in japan, i'm just telling my story and my experience how they treated other persons of color. But they're still very kind people in japan that they accept me no matter what my color is. So if you want to travel japan or other countries, my advice to you is don't expect too much. but you can still enjoy japan because there's still many friendly and very kind people there and the views and places are very nice 🥰
The title is misleading. Half-Japanese kids educated in Japan are just fine because they have native fluency and mannerism. In fact, there are many famous half-Filipino celebrities like HAYAMI Mokomichi, AKIMOTO Sayaka, or TAKAHASHI Maryjune. But if you were raised overseas and don't have proper Japanese education, cultural upbringing, or mannerism...being half-Japanese has no impact on how you're seen in Japan. We can instinctively tell from facial expressions, gestures, mannerism, fashion, or make-up who's native and who's not. I once heard that Japanese counter-intelligence can identify a Chinese, Korean or Japanese person...just by how he/she walks.
Pardon my ignorance, but why the American sounding accent? I am honestly interested. I heard a guy talking in front of me at the ATM today and asked him to speak more. When he asked why, I asked if he was Filipino and he replied, yes. I asked if he was speaking Tagalog, to which he replied, yes. He was surprised I knew this (I'm white and British) but I recognised the language purely because I am a big fan of Gold Aceron, and I think the language is just beautiful and so alive and vibrant! People from the Philippines are so warm and friendly. Their kindness is natural. In my very small city in England there is one Filipino café and the lady who owns it is so cheerful, full of love and always happy to chat. I feel love from her and I know this sounds strange but I can taste her love in the food she puts out.
American accent sounds smoother 😅 maybe that's it. Philippines have BPOs and Filipinos are trained or encouraged to speak well and learn slangs to understand english speaking foreigners. when I did on the job training, the calls, I was overwhelmed by the different accents of foreigners. It's legit hard to understand if not trained well. that and angry customers 😅 and yeah, American media is another influence.
Aside from us media, the english dialect beimg taught in the philippines is from the education system of americans. Hence, if a filipino or someone who studies english in the philippines becomes fluent, most likely they may adapt more to an american english accent
Philippines was also colonized by the US after Spain. They bought the Philippines from Spain for 20 million dollars. Then they basically set up the education system here and tought us English primarily which is why English is our 2nd language.
Not ALL of the Japanese but most know and allow the racist acts or discrimination. There are many horrible things the government has done in the past that they have not owned up
I am white, In Tokoyo about 50% of resturants or bars would refuse me, maybe 1 in 4 Taxis also.... Not to mention there were busses and Mobs chanting about wanting "forigners out" seen daily, Also got searched by the police once for absolutly no reason at all, This was 2008 But people in the streets seemed to be positivly curious, those who made eye contact anyway.... Then Osaka was night and day being FULL of friendly outgoing people who went out of their way to Interact and joke arround...
Damn. Thank for sharing your experience. I have heard most of the so called "craziness" usually just happens around tokyo and people vary from the region.
Racist came from a bad person not country. Just because you met so many racist in japan it doesn't mean all of them are like that. I'm a half black asian filipino nigerian to, i also met so many racist in many countries including california, philippines, japan & korea. True that there's so many hospitality person and very true that there's so many hospitality person and very true that there's so many hospitality and very kind people in philippines, and i can prove you that because i met so many friends and very kind people there who accept me despite of being black. However there's still racist people in philippines and they discriminate me any stereotyping with the time not filipino enough because of my color. In korea i met so many very kind people and also i met a black asian korean who became my friend. Her friend and her family accept her and treat us as equally. So if i met so many friendly and very kind in most racist country like korea, and i met a racist people in a very friendly and very kind people in the philippines despite of being hospitality. It means not all people are like that because of their stereotyping. Again! racist came from a bad person dude, Not country. But i know how you feel being victim of being racist because of being person of colored.
@@qwertyasdfgh-dm6cs I'm not saying it's the country, I'm just saying racist against foreigners exist do exist in japan. Just like the video title asked😅
This guy has great English. Grew up in the Philippines and then spent last two years in South Korea? If I didn't know his background, I'd think he'd spent some time in the U.S. His English is very western.
Good job young man that you did not disappoint your mom who worked hard for you, yes, every moms desire is to make their children become a better person when they grow up. I'm sure your mom must be so proud of you.❤️🇵🇭
I'm a Filipino born and raised in America. This Korean has very westernized English for learning in the Philippines. You would think he lived in America for a while.
I really love this topic. My son is half Filipino my wife is full Filipina born and raised in Philippines. My son is raised in the U.S. I am trying to push the Philippine culture on my son but its not working very well. I very much want him to know what it means to be Filipino I believe I've done two little too late unfortunately
I'm proud of your mom. I hope everything is ok. I was a nanny too and my son and I lived in canada. until now i just let my son picked whatever he will decide in his life what he wants with my little encouragement.
True. I really like to move out of the country. hirap yung steriotype na gays are only for sex at mga tao tingin nila sin ang love natin. Bwisit talaga sa bansa natin. Doesn't feel like home. Toxic, backward, closet and lots of shame, guilt and self hate from Religious trauma. Hard to form relationships cuz everyone is hiding and afraid, and when you do have, ang hirap kase ang society is so toxic about it. You have to be a fighter to be in love as LGBTQ in this backward country. Tapos nag tanong sila bakit Mga LGBTQ sad, messirable, lonely, eh shit ang society about it.
Hillo sir I'm Ram please ask for your father to contact her a very important matter...husband of Liza Quinagan from siargao working at gvillas hotel as manager
