I just had this conversation with some guys at the gym yesterday! Most westernized men appreciate the filipina's brown skin and exotic features. These girls are easily more attractive to our standards than in their own country.

Sorry but not in Filipino standard beauty. We loved white porcelain skin. What we meant is Korean type of white skin. Not European American white skin. Filipino who says, that to them tan is beautiful they’re lying to themselves and are just pretending,but deep inside they’ll choose to have white skin if given a chance to alter their color.

Their answers are more of pretentious.They’re the same women who tells their fellow Filipinas that they’re only pretty because their skin is white but then these girls who called themselves proud Morena ( Tan) will used whitening soap, lotion, goes to beauty clinic for Glutathione drip & whitening facials, use filters on IG, FB to whitewash their picture. How many beauty products that we have in PH that has lightening ingredients on it? What about beauty clinics that offers lightening services? You have no idea. Why it’s a lot? Because of the demands. Sure, they’ll start loving their skin color only if they’ll be in a country that finds their color attractive but not in The Philippines.
Filipinos are already beautiful and are best singers and dancers in the world, what they need is more high scores in math. The Philippines PISA score is 77 while China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Korea are in top 10.
Before, Having a white or fairer skin is more superior to some Filipinas. Now, Some of the young generatios are admiring the Korean celebrity beauties.(like K-pop) There's a change from generation.

That's your genetic make up?? Why change the color?? Kayumanggi or fair skin is beautiful, unless it is necessary, like the model and some celebrities. Be aware, anything you receive inside the body has a side effect and not all this beauty products are not FDA apptove.😢
The question is "beauty standards of the Philippines" not your beauty standards, you are not a Filipino and no one asking you. By the way, you can't measure a "beautiful" person based on physical appearance. Being beautiful is not all about looks but also your personality.
