Would be nice to see a complete tutorial on how to get android with Bazzite running I'm trying to get this tablet next month so far, there is no tutorial about this setup. Nice video 👍
So I got the latest of all this installed some of the items are not in the same place as this video. Also as stated here manual GPU clock slider is not showing up anywhere when turned on. The Watt slider looks like it moved to TDP area.
Hi. How do you print your grips? I can't print it without supports in them... could you share cura file or a picture to watch how do you position the grips, please? Thanks for your video
Been looking at this tablet for the last week and man I just gotta say what a perfect video you showed basically everything I wanted to see. Linux compatibility, steam, and Android well done.
I gotta ask, does the linux environment save battery in normal web browsing and media consumption (idk if mixed with waydroid usage matters)? Just curious if you have an obvious observation on the matter
So what I understand from the start and conclusion of the video is that you can get SteamOS on the LegionGo and still have windows as the desktop mode. Are there any downsides or bugs to doing this? Because having SteamOs on a handheld system with more features and no compatibility issues sounds like a dream to me. I know that Bazzite is what's installed but is there any difference between bazzite and SteamOS? Is it just a recreation? Bonus question: Does this boot automatically into Bazzite and go to the windows desktop by going to the desktop mode like the steamdeck? Edit: Ok I just watched Ari's demonstration of the dual boot system. Very cool way to handle it. I hope that you don't need to boot into that menu every time but it's better to do that than not have SteamOS lol
So when trying to launch the update patch it tells me : Memoria.patcher.exe <gamepath> PResse enter to exit. I have tried a lot of ways to locate the game files but when i copy paste the browse local game files from ff9 it just tells me that they're incorrect.
As a windows handheld user, I can relate😆. literally every time my aunt wants to play on my legion go, I just put it on steam big picture mode so that she doesnt need to navigate through a desktop.
Thanks for the video, really helpful. Is there any guide on how to install android on bazzite os? I am sure i've seen it in on video in your channel but cant find it anymore
Did you get suspend and resume to work? I have updated and used all if the win tricks files but when i resume my device it is super laggy and wont sort itself out until i completely restart the device.
just out of curiousity, does decky loader work while you are in game? It (the sub menu for decky loader) doesnt seem to appear in the side menu while I am in game and I have to tab out of the game into steam big picture to see it again.
super video! However, I have an issue. cannot map the L4 or R4 button. i am in the bios 3.06 and the latest bazzite. installed all required plugins. choose dual sense edge but as soon as I map a button to L4 / R4 it quickly appears and disappears again. when I test the controller in steam L4 / R4 do not react (false)
tbh the gpd controls plugin is kind of buggy, you can also directly set the back buttons using either GPD software on windows, or via pyWinControls on Linux github.com/pelrun/pyWinControls/
Because I was using Windows before I already assigned the back buttons in Windows. Used it for the RTSS Overlay. But does mapping buttons in Windows have an effect in Linux? I assumed that the mappings in Windows are not reflected in Linux. Am I wrong?
@@matthiaskull9385 for the back buttons on GPD devices, actually yes. remapping in windows affects it in linux, since the remappings happen at a hardware level, not OS.
is there a way to get back to that first welcome to bazzite install screen? I messed up somewhere and it's not there anymore after rebooting. Im having troubles getting decky loader and tdp control on the gpd win mini
I have installed bazzite, but no luck. The menu+A doesn't bring up anything. I checked HTTP://localhost:5335, the page shows: "HHD settings NOt ready yet chief! But the APT works...". THe Handheld Daemon app can let me set TDP, but decky loader not working? I also have another problem or maybe by design? the state.yml under hhd folder, not matter how many time I change it, sudo or non-sudo, it just reversed back to original settings by itself!!! many thx
I have a similar issue. cannot map the L4 or R4 button. i am in the bios 3.06 and the latest bazzite. installed all required plugins. choose dual sense edge but as soon as I map a button to L4 / R4 it quickly appears and disappears again. when I test the controller in steam L4 / R4 do not react (false)
