I am on a weight loss journey to lose 30 lbs in a healthy and sustainable way. This channel is for accountability. Hi and thanks for checking out my channel as well new subscriber here. guess what I am trying to do an excercise plan for the month of October. My first week starts on Monday. Glad that we are connecting. Sometimes I do intermittent fasting but not always I just naturally dont eat until 11:30 am every day. Great video love the recipes.

I also use a mini stepper to try to lose weight, i have also reduced my food portions, plus intermittent fasting and i am seeing a progress. Wish you the best with your surgery. ✨

@@loseitwithsteph I went to the doctor last night because I was having this crazy headache migraine kind (it's Saturday morning here in Kenya), my blood pressure was high. I'm in severe need of lifestyle change he said. I'm not only obese, I'm morbidly obese, So I think I'll take you up on your offer and start a new journey here on these RU-vid streets...just open a different page for that, I'm 🤔. I'll let you know when I start....today I'm gonna try IF till 3pm so help me God.
Omg you are so beautiful and young. I would never have thought you are 58. I’m 55 in menopause, over weight and also have hashimoto. I have done low carb in the past with much success but am now having a hard time getting back on track. I’m enjoying your videos because they inspire me. Thank you and God bless you. I’m a new grandma to a beautiful 7 months old boy and another one on the way! I want to be healthy and young (like you) to be able to enjoy them. Btw I’m from NJ also. Lol.

I don’t know much about Hashimoto’s, But if you lean on the Lord for strength, he would provide it to you. This menopause is no joke though! Do you live anywhere near Wildwood? @@loseitwithsteph thank you for replying. And thank you for mentioning the Lord. I am also a believer! We live in north Jersey and love the Jersey shore in the summer. I will try to stick to this way of eating. Hashimoto is an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid. Lots of debilitating symptoms and weight gain and inability to lose weight is one of them. Thank you again for being such an inspiration.

@@loseitwithsteph I've done it now for two years. You lose the cravings after a while and you're never hungry. I have cheat days every now and then, but I'm 99% zero carbs. You do have to supplement your electrolytes but it all becomes second nature after a while. I subscribe to the beef, butter, bacon and eggs version. Its simplified, no counting calories- eat until you're full, and eat when you're hungry. I find that I'm eating every other day because high protein, high fat with out carbs keep you full for much longer. 72-hour fasts are easy and I do them every other month. There are great doctors here on RU-vid with the Carnivore steps that give excellent advice. Dr. Ken Berry is my go-to! Good luck. The Carnivore diet is the Holy Grail they've been keeping away from us. It is truly the way to OPTIMAL HEALTH🙏🏽
@@loseitwithsteph its healthy weight loss. Your muscles show up out of nowhere; everyone thinks I live in the gym because all of the belly fat, back fat and love handles melted away, by eliminating carbs.

I’ve been seeing people talk about the carnivore diet but had some reservations about it due to what we are “taught” about too much red meat. This sounds like something I might be able to incorporate intermittently. 👍🏽
@@cocob6366 Hi there! I shoot for 25-30 grams of carbs in a day for 6 days a week and 60-70 grams in 1 day a week (usually our Friday eat out day). That’s for now. I will probably change that once I get into maintenance mode.

For a long time it was difficult for me to take rest days. I did CrossFit 5 days a week because I loved it. However, I also discovered that pace was draining my daily store of energy. I have cut back to an average of three days a week and have much more energy in the day. I sleep better at night, as well. I just need more recovery time than I used to. ((Sigh)). 😉
