How do you remove it if the parking break is engaged? Something is engaging it to where it won’t come off and I don’t want to hammer it off, do I need to release something? Please someone help

How did you clean off the rust and metal from the rim. I tried brake cleaner on my rim and it did nothing

how can I tell what size my rear rotors are? my front is 13WH which is 338mm but my rear has all these random numbers that don't correspond to anything on rockauto like, "1480 f13 14bd 27", all numbers are in different areas.

@@HumanBeing-c8w, where ever you end up buying your new rotors should be able to use the year make and model of your vehicle in order to ensure you get the right ones. Some places can also use the vin number on the vehicle.

@@bullseyenate231 ok yes youre right. I realize now I just stick to the "rear" labeled rotors Lol. I see these are usually labeled 312mm somewhere in the details for the 2003 4runner sr5.

You would be surprised how much grime and dust can seem to hold it on. Not saying that your parking brake is not stuck but it is very possible it is not.

You're already $260 give or take $30 (a year ago before "the final inflation"), why would you put new rotor/drums on old parking/emergency brake shoes?
