Thank you so much! I shut my thumb in the car door 11 months ago and have been struggling ever since. I’m at hairstylist so cutting hair isn’t along it to heal. Any other helpful healing exercises?
I dont think my issue is trigger finger then but i just cant extend back or straight my ring finger along with other fingers of left hand and middle finger of right hand . I dont have any injury, no pain, its not bent or fixed ,i can fold them inside and open upto certain level , i just feel after that certain level when i try to make them stand straight along with other fingers i feel numb or no grip of that finger . met a couple of doctors one said extensor lag , other said its nothing . But i cant type with those fingers its been 3to4 yrs already . but they just feel like no energy in them. can you analyze my situation. Plzz @virtual hand care
I did a surgery on my thumb tendon i need exercises hyperextension of the thumb like it goes all the way back but can't bend it like my other normal thumb any hyperextension exercises?

I have large hands and a tennis ball seems small to me for these exercises. Is there a larger ball you could recommend? Thank you! Your exercises are saving my hands.
I don't know of a larger diameter ball that will still give you the firmness that you need. Perhaps you can wrap the ball to bulk it up just a little but you do not want it too big.
