I am a crusty old man and I make videos of stray subjects as I come across them, hoping the videos I make will help and entertain others in their own pursuit of a great end result. I retired in April 2023 and hope to make more videos while I enjoy my retirement. Watch, enjoy, comment, like, subscribe!
You are correct, you will need to shop around. Thanks for the comment, I updated where I purchase my bulk rolls. Here is the link. www.spsindustrial.com/filter-roll-30-inx90-ft-x1-in-merv-8-2jrw6
Yea, the first time we made one it came out tougher, we wound up doing the next one an hour and a half, and the meat was falling apart. And the taste was at least as good as doing it in the slow cooker that time.
As always a very informative and great video Steve . Those she sure do look sturdy and I think I may go with the caster version for my garage. Assembly sure does go well when you have the right tool for the job. Have a good one.
Felix is correct, I ordered directly from Uline. I ordered their chrome wire industrial shelving. I selected chrome because it was cheaper than the stainless steel. I purchased two shelf assemblies. I purchased one 72H x 18W x 12D that came with four shelves (I purchased two extra shelves) for a total six shelves. The other was a 32H x 34W x 12D with two shelves. I purchased two extra shelves for this one as well, even though I only needed one shelf. The extra shelves are only sold in pairs. The shipping is a bit pricey because of the weight of the boxes and the casters themselves are heavy. The order was $460 and the shipping was an additional $110. I did get three free pairs of work gloves that I for got to mention in the video 😄
From what I have read. If you remove the back panel screws and then the back panel, the three filters can be removed for cleaning. I have not tried it yet, but I cannot imagine they would design the cooler with no access to the filters.
From what I read and how I understand it, Spray And Forget is labeled as corrosive to humans and animals, but is not corrosive to materials. Wet And Forget is corrosive to materials and that is why I chose Spray And Forget over Wet And Forget.
thanks to joe and inflation, they sure aren't $3 per filter anymore. for my 20X20 filter even in a roll this stuff costs about $10 per filter now, the premade big box store filters are a bit less.
You need to shop around. Three years later, I just purchased a 25 inch x 90 foot roll for $130. My filter is 36" x 24". That comes out $4.30 per filter for me. www.spsindustrial.com/filter-roll-25-inx90-ft-x1-in-merv-8-2jrw2?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw7NmzBhBLEiwAxrHQ-W2saNG6qCAcM7FGH88XFxJYnXGW_ZVbwylRiPnmcAFwFibbk_rCIRoC9AMQAvD_BwE
I have two of those pos towers and movers just broke the swivel on one of them. I laughed when I saw and was reminded that it’s plastic. Found your video and now I’m hopeful I can upgrade the broken one and possibly change the working one after. I’ll keep you posted. Thanks for the helpful and fun video!
Tonight with a little finagling and a Home Depot stop to get those #6 screws I’m happy to say I upgraded both CD towers! Thanks again for the inspiration and the “how to”!!!
I purchased a two pack of a similar metal lazy Susan for just under $20 on Amazon with free shipping and two packs of screws was like $3.40ish. Less than $24 total and I upgraded two units!
@StevesStrayStuff maybe redo/change the song to Bobby McFerrin's Don't Worry, Be Happy? See if you get a different set of comments? Change perspectives, change the world Str8 eye from this Str8 guy
I was minding my own business. Then, I pull into a public grocery store parking lot and see this person's public billboard on their rear window that expresses their feelings about cops. I wasn't sticking my nose in their business because their business is out there for everyone to see, even the cops. The owner of this pickup truck must like living on the edge because when I edited out the license plate, I also edited out the broken tail light lens.
Should take the tail fins from the 57, and the headlight fender extensions and put them on the 03, there I fixed it! 👍 My dad had a brand new 1957 Thunderbird. 👍👌
@@StevesStrayStuff You know I’ve actually talked to a local body man and fabricator about doing just this modification to an 03 Tbird. I’m waiting to find a bargain basement buy on one to see what it will cost. If the opportunity arises, I will be giving it a shot. 🤞
Couple questions - any reason why I couldn't just add some ice cubes to the top every so often instead of the ice pack? I've got an ice machine at work, so I can get plenty of cubed ice quickly. Also, if it is filled up to max, how many hours will it last before it needs to be refilled. Thanks!
Great questions. I did think about adding ice. You could use ice if you started the water reservoir closer to the MIN mark, so as the ice melts it fills the reservoir. Just keep an eye on the MAX mark. The instructions did not say what happens if you over fill the reservoir. I assume the extra water would just overflow onto the ground. I filled mine up to the MAX, twelve gallons. It was 92 degrees with high humidity and I ran it for seven consecutive hours. The reservoir water level dropped to 1/4, so it consumed about nine gallons of water. In lower humidity, it would consume more water than higher humidity because water has a harder time evaporating in high humidity. This device definitely makes cool air that can cool down an area.
I am not saying anything, this is not my vehicle. I have no idea what the thought process is of the truck owner. However, the owner might want to fix the broken taillight that I did not capture in this video.
You are probably right. Once I read about this car and found out power windows was a 56/57 option, a dead battery surely would keep the windows down. There was an Autozone directly across the four lane street. If it were me, I would have paid Autozone an extra $50 to change the battery where it broke down instead of in their parking lot.
They are still ding-donging today. I hung it on my back patio and my patio faces due West, so it sees full sun for at least six hours per day. You just had me put a video idea on the drawing board. When this chime has a failure, I will have to upload a follow up video. Thank you. Good luck with your chime selection.
