I don't know if you did it on purpose, but from 4:31 to 5:10 you changed to buleria pattern (flamenco, 12/8), counting from 11th beat on wards with the accents on 12th, 3rd, 6th, 8th and 10th (bass drum marks the first accent so you must pick up the pace 1 beat earlier: 11 -12- 1 2 -3- 4 5 -6- 7 -8- 9 -10-). I know it because of my father, he used to play flamenco and I used to follow him with palm percussion. Sublime moment remembering the old papa at 1;45 am. Thank you Sithu
This is brilliant! Kind of like Plini on steroids.....but not! Unique unto itself with a soaring quality that takes you on a journey with tasty shredding to boot! Awesome mix as well. This never gets old and is soooo satisfying. It's right in the pocket and a regular listen for me!

Pale Blue Dot has to be one of my all-time favorite songs. I've listened to it probably 100 times and still get goosebumps around the 43:15 mark and then again at 44:22.

What plugin are you using for the synth and bells ? Also is this still the same drum mix from Senpai and 10 years ? Or have you pretty much redone the whole drum nix?
So for this track I used a Mayones Duvell 7 string which is a double humbucker but for the others I used a Mayones Aquila which is a humbucker in the bridge and two single coils. For this album I'm actually re-amping through my pedalboard and a fender blues junior and recording it with a SM57 mic. I never actually used Bias on any recordings, just the demos I did for them
@@SithuAye Awesome I did always wondered if I could use Biasfx Cus I loved your demos for like Set course and Runaway reaction. I played that song soo many times to learn it and bought the tab book. But I wanted to use BIas for tones. I don't have any hard gear anymore. Would you have recommend settings for this track on Bias FX? Or a saved settings profile to send out?
@SithuAye ya thats fair. I wish i could get the right tones for your Homebound album but no matter what I do on Plinis archetype I just cant get a tone that sounds right.
Your idea about someone else's idea about bass tone is disturbing. It sounds fine in the overall mix. A lot of tones that were meant to go in a mix sound bad when solo'd. You should know this if you ever used a DAW, yourself.
