your english is CRAZY good. you know so many native expressions, and use them in the appropriate ways and places. Inspiring. Also gerat that you keep your own accent, and don't do an American accent. Its always a bit creepy when people master an American or British or Australian accent too well. I have a Jpaanese friend living in London who speaks in a PERFECT British accent and I prefer it honestly when we speak in Japanese because it almost feels like he is doing an impression of a British person or something when we talk in English. Its cooler to have your own accent, with correct pronunciation. For example, a French person keeping a bit of a French accent in English is seen as very cool, if they speak a specific English accent its seen as potentially kinda weird. Like - you're French - be French. So all in all - fantastic job! You're fluent in one of the hardest languages to master speaking, I don't know how you did it but I hope you feel amazing about it because you should. :)
Go do tourism colabs with other RU-vidrs who want to visit Japan. Then visit them when they go back and make a contrast video. Stupid ideas I know but I was just fantasizing you would go visit MxR and hang out for a while in ... Seattle? (Washington State?)
Im the messiest eater possible, 😅 So much for my 4 times a week 🪦 I hate the tired question "do japanese people cheat" as if you can answer for an entire country??
What is the Japanese employer’s opinion about foreigners who studied at foreign universities? But not particularly famous universities like Oxford or Cambridge, more like universities in bigger cities of France or Germany for example.
The best Japanese pop group: Shocking Lemon. The best Japanese composers: Akira Miyoshi and Toshiro Mayuzumi. The best anthem I've heard about Japan by a non-Japanese group: Osaka Boy by UNIT which I came across on You Tube. It's still there if anyone is interested. By an odd coincidence I discovered this band (who I think are Scottish) recorded a cover of Under Star by Shocking Lemon. (That track used to be on You Tube - I think it's now only available on Bit Chute.) My knowledge of the Japanese language is poor but I wonder if their track means we hear Japanese sung in a Scots accent? That'd be splendid! Anyway, good luck with new home.
> work at IT company > interact with business owners all over the world > Project manager in 25 > Comes to JP > Don't have a degree or diploma > YOU ARE NOT A PERSON ANYMORE > feels sadge bro...

Saying “huh” in English to ask for repetition or clarification is something mostly only kids do, as it is as they are usually taught early that it’s considered very impolite. I might say it in teasing, if one of my native English speaking close friends said something that sounded incredibly stupid, or if they fumbled their words so badly that their sentence just made no sense. But I assure you, even when done playfully like this, it always implies some degree of disrespect. If I was talking to a stranger my own age who speaks English fluently and he responded to something I said with “Huh?!” I’d think in my head “ok fuck this guy..” and end the conversation pretty abruptly.
Great video. Recently discovered you and your girlfriend, and boy, do you guys do really great wholesome content, but also informative and commendable.
Even in predominantly white States or cities in the USA, unless someone is going out their way to be rude, you won’t have people react to seeing any kind of minority
Because it's a culture that claims to be selfless when in fact it's entirely selfish - only about the community, at the expense of the people who work for it. It's corporate culture at it's absolute worst. The entire basis of their identity is to never say what you mean in the fear of 'being offensive', to never discuss mental health or personal wellbeing. And the result? Second highest suicide rate IN THE WORLD.
