The moment at the end, when his voice becomes unusually quiet and docile, promising he won't swear... it brings a tear to my eye. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand and agree that his overconfidence is right for him, he obviously has to be strong to handle his situation in life. I interpret the change as him being hopeful of having a little more safety in his life, with this new job. It's like he can finally relax.
Blood Meridian is a pretty smart reference from the Cuno. Maybe his dad had a copy of the book, or he heard the term once in school (something to do with the setting sun, but the book is pretty violent and respected, so his dad might have a copy.)
Feels like most of the people commenting knew ahead of time what was going to happen at the tribunal. Seems weird to deliberately spoil a game like Disco Elysium with a walk through... Can understand a little at the start but once you've gotten going makes no sense to me to not want the surprise
The new one is just better. She sounds like someone fragile and about to crack, which is even referenced in one of the internal dialogues. Her laughing "at" you also makes sense, when you say that line you sound just like the brute she used to like, the one that was hanged.
After spending literal hours going through his dialogue tree, the little brat started growing on me. I really wish there was a way to save him and Kim.
Both voices have their own interesting way of the character. The old one really shows that she's mourning and tired of life, which kinda fits the expression of her portrait and what she's been through in the game. The new one makes sense to me because she might be more flirty and somewhat lively, but she still sounds very tired. The new voice also makes her more cunning and manipulative, and fits more voice lines imo
В оригинале отсутствует приятный мужской закадровый голос, и не все женские реплики (Клаасье) озвучены! Финальный вариант просто более качественно сделан и проработан. Женский голос оригинала тоже хорош, но финальный мне больше нравится! А так это единственное видео сравнения голосов этого персонажа, которое я нашел. Спасибо за видео! ... Couldn't appreciate If on a.... by Italo Calvino. Found it too artificial whether it is labelled as post modernist writing or by some other names. I always love to read books like Zorba the Greek or No One Writes to the Colonel
Likable?! I’ve only read the excerpt so far but I find the main character absolutely obnoxious and loathsome. That’s why I’m here to check out if I should take the plunge and buy the book…now I feel even more confused if one of the things going for it is that Lise’s “likable”
Welp. I gotta say i'm glad how things turned out on my playthrough. Had some recollection of her from the ledger. Then, a nightmare about Dolores Dei. Stickbug helped Harry get over and finally patch his unknown trauma.
