The Three Electroknights by Stanislaw Lem is a collection of four space-themed fables about why you should not try and usurp the throne! Stanisław Lem is a Polish Scifi writer I've wanted to read for a long time. Somehow, Polish (and occasionally Russian) translations rarely work for me, the English is just too stilted and they feel too cold. It wasn't terrible, but these stories are totally forgettable because they are full of details that do not matter and morals that are not supported by them and that are too vague and unoriginal to be compelling. Think of this as scifi for kids, maybe?
