Hi, I'm Benjy and I love cycling with my kids. Bike Trailers have been a big part of our family life ever since we discovered their joy 6 years ago when I decided to start biking everywhere, including to my job in NYC from New Jersey. We have bought and tested several bike trailers since then to fit our growing family and active lifestyle. This is the channel where we share everything we've learned about riding with kids.

Hi, I just discovered your content. I am trying to figure out how to use my Thule chariot and ended watching this video. First time mom here, and trying to bike with him. Thank you for sharing this video. I don't want to think when my baby turns a teen but I hope I can manage it. I send you a lot of hugs. Thank you for your thoughts and advice!!!
Hi there, do you know what the difference is between this red joyrider and the blue version? I can't seem to find any information comparing the two. They're both available in Canada on Amazon and the only difference I see is the price (~$100), the blue one being cheaper.
The world is round, hills are everywhere, youll be constantly stopping and accelerating, and any distance is a long distance when you combine the aformentioned with 40-100lbs of cargo. Yes people, it is hard! Hard as hell! But if you're in shape and can force yourself to suffer through the strain- you'll be fine.
Thanks for the review. Regarding the width, I can't find reliable information, how wide is it (including wheels installed) ? I found on many websites 50cm which seems really narrow I guess it's more than that?!
Just got one for my embt. The axl on the bike was too big so I ended up taking the adapter to my drill press to widening the opening, it fit perfectly , until I realized the axl with the adapter on created just enough space to kep it from reaching the threads on the other side. Ugh
Thank you so much for making these videos. I know nothing about riding a bike with my toddlers, but I live on a beach bike trail and use to take me 20 min to bike to the beach. I’m ready to take my 1&3 year olds and this has helped try and figure out what I need. Now to figure out how to connect stuff to my bike or if my old bike is appropriate 😆 🤷🏽♀️
Great review. We're looking to sell 1 of our 2 cars, which i only need one day a week with my kid and is kinda a waste of money. It's a 45 minute bike ride one way; so the trailer is problaby the best option. How is this in winter time, is it doable temperature wise if its around freezing. Will the kids be warm enough?
I like the disclaimer "in america" ... because in the Netherlands, ppl start biking with pretty much newborns. Cars have more vibration and shaking,... even over bumpy terrain.
@bikegrowrich i just got my thule chariot sport, very similar to the cross, double verson. The bottom or floor seems like fabric just under a lot of tension, very tight. Have you found any problem then your kids standing on it so they can get in and out themselves? Is tthe floor sturdy enough ?
Thanks for this video! With my first daughter (now 3 yrs old) we didn't bike until she was almost a year, like the recommendation on the US, but I was really sad about it! Since my second daughter was born I became determined to find a safe way to bike with her. I'll just make sure we're on trails and not roads :) We have a two-seat bike trailer so I'll probably get the infant insert so I can take both girls along
Is there any ways to convert it into a Stroller? As far as I understand you can't adapt any accessories like a Front Wheel or a Tow Bar. Any help is welcome!
Just bought this trailer because of your videos. But one thing I noticed is that the steel cage isn’t steel anymore it’s flexible and doesn’t seem safe for roll overs 😢
Funny how your negative of it being wide is a downside and here I am looking for a wide trailer lol I have a 4yo who’s pretty tall and a 1yo who will be in it. Do you think they will have enough space? They’re both in the 90th percentile for height (I’m 6’5”) so I want a trailer that they’re going to quickly grow out of.
