Thank you so much for watching and mega thanks for subscribing YOU ROCK!!!!
I usually don't post comment but you had me smile wide for the whole 18min long video. Thanks for this excellent review! I've just bought the Hubbahubba 2 because Access isn't in my budget and for what im doing it'll do. Thanks a lot for your experience sharing and the good mood! Safe travels to you!
Thanks for this incredible message. How insane was that dragonfly 😄. I've actually gone back to using my hubbahubba due to it's simple setup. I just love how the 4 corner pegs are utilized for tent and fly. As a solo hunter it's sooooo much easier to set up in the wind. Thanks mega for watching. More vids out soon
I just had to restore and zero my rifle scope on my .22 today. Used a pretty similar method. White target, aim, shoot. Measure distance of POI compared to aiming location. Adjust windage and elevation, repeat. No bipod, i didnt look through the scope as i adjusted. Just used 1/4 moa = 1/16th of an inch at 25 yards.
Great content bud, just found your channel and subbed. I always piss the rabbits to empty the bladder before skinning and paunching. All the best from Scotland.
@@ThreeEyeGypsy30 I've only got there Frontier range which is there top mend stuff. Meopta is so super incredible with a life time warranty and the Meosports was one on my favs, you cant go wrong it
Life is so mega rad and we all are super heroes....most don't like the effort behind finding theirs. Every earned view, every pull-up and push-up, running those KM's are worth it. Life doesn't let us down, we let it down with wasted noise. Thank you so much for finding me and watching. More vids out soon.
awesome video mate! I'm from Italy my granma always use to make rabbit stew it's the best meat ever! Now I live here in NZ to get out and get some! Do we have to look out for diseases of the animal or anything else? Cheers from Taranaki
Hey dude, I always check the kidneys for spots or anything abnormal. Where I hunt, it's super rear to come across anything suspicious....maybe 1 out of ever 100? It's such incredible meat. Thanks so much for watching
Epic video ma bro epic 👏 dam that would’ve been an primo adventure especially solo the promise of seeing a really good animal plus the terrain and the challenge of it all just bloody brilliant keep em coming Btw what was the shooter? I love those stocks find them really comfortable, few years holding similar bullpup design
My brother, thanks for the mind blowing comments. Just came out of Fiordland again 2024 first period and filmed another epic video. Back into the Tararuas chasing Reds tomorrow for 10 days. That rifle was a CZ ergo 300win, now I'm using a Hardy hybrid 7mm rem mag....wow love it
Did you know that those red/silver rings on the hubba hubba fly sheet are ment to attach to the tent poles not the pegs. 9:25 for reference. Attach said rings to the corresponding side of the tent, they're color coded to line up the inner and outer zips.
Iv just moved into a 600 acre nlock of Wilding pines Mahia Peninsula.. Possum and goat for dinner, smoked mullet for on trey.. Winter in a tipi.. Deer running around.. you are welcome to camp up if yous are ever up north
I've got to admit that if I'm not in the hills I'm always grounding/bare foot even in winter so I don't really feel the cold. In -20 I find these boots so incredible and warm with ample subport......for my foot. Merino sock are awesome
Just came across this. You still likeing that tent? I have a simialr tent by intergal designs a company that was purchcased by RAB a number of years ago. I love it for ski touring but find it struggles with condensation in above zero temps. Definitely an excellent alpine tent with its abilty to pitch from inside in high winds and bad weather.
Hey mate, this tent blows my mind and 10 days in fiordland I expected more condensation for a single wall tent. I do wish it had a touch more head room and the vent was off to the side. The most condensation came from the vent which drips on my face. Did put a tarp over it as well.
Hey, firstly thanks for watching. I take a small Rab Siltarp and a large waterproof bag/pack liner. The Ridge Raider is something you will not regret buying
Thank you so so much, means a lot to me. knowing where that animal lives and how it died plus the condition of it....is what I live by. Rab is next level !!!!
Would have loved to have seen Penn Creek joining the Otaki River to give context to the river above and below these points. So if you do the Mangahou River as suggested in the comments, please show major creeks to reveal your progress down the river. Note there is one walk around river drop if you do that trip. A number of people do that trip when the dam operator does its maintenance flush. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for watching Peter. Packrafting Solo with my limited skills was as massive gamble and upset a few people and rightly so. If I do another one it will have to be with a backup crew. Was just thinking about hitting Pen Creek for a hunt
Excellent video. I am in the UK and I run a CZ 452 American with Winchester subs, with a Falcon Optics M18 4-18x44FFP on top. As long as the wind isn't blowing it is staggeringly accurate out to silly ranges, and very quiet when moderated. My daughter and I love rabbit and we eat it often (she is a great shot) but the only down side is when I do clearance shooting on land that has been left too long. Cleaning 100+ carcasses after a night session gets old... Now that winter is approaching I am going to switch to my ATN X-Sight for night vision shooting, coupled with a thermal spotter. Very, very effective. I use Meopta on my .270 for deer, and on my 5.56/.223 👍🏻
Wow super cool and I love your passion!!!! plus your thought towards your epic set-ups. Thank you so much for finding the chancel. Plenty of exciting things coming up soon.
