Simon loving the homestead. Cant wait to join you in the shepards hut or if you are allowing people in the hide i will be there. great video by the way
Nice video. I am currently waiting to receive my HikMicro 10, so I am glad you think it's a good brand. 7:45 I 100 percent agree on the error of them focussing so much on hunting. Certainly in the UK, the most likely use for thermal scopes would be wildlife watching, not hunting.
Yes Robin its definitely a market that I think they should be focusing on. You wont be disappointed, they make a huge difference and give you an edge out in the field. Good luck with it 👍🏼
Well done Simon great viedo, great to see someone else who doesnt mind doing some graft to fo!low their dreams. it reminds me of me when I bought my little place on the edge of the Kruger park in ZA, why lie on a sun bed when you can graft all day eh lol! Good luck with it all keep them coming, always enjoy your videos mate!
Cheers pal, I dont mind a sun lounger at the end of the day with a beer in my hand but I certainly feel like I need to have earned it!! I bet youve have some fun in the Kruger Park, I'd love to get there one day 🤞🏼📷 Thanks for following the channel👊🏼
Got to applaud ya mate thats some graft you've both put in.theres no better feeling then to stand back and say i made that.cant wait for all the videos and photos.👍👍
All coming together si!!!,bridge looks stunning nice added feature to the homestead.Looking fwd to seeing the hide completed,im sure it will loolk class!,welll done both of you on all your hard work you've put in.!!Da iawn pobol😊
Great videos of your work. New subscriber now going back to see what I missed. Beautiful property. I’m certain your visitors will appreciate the effort you have put in for them.
Thanks John, they're German WireHaired Pointers. A wonderful breed of dog, I wouldnt have any other breed after owning these, they have a wonderful temperament.
Blimey Simon thought you was looking little more "toned" up" these days, can see why now a lot of hard physical graft is going into these projects. More power to you elbow mate !!! 👍
Keep at it Mike, the key is to sit and wait. Its easy to miss them if youre moving along the river bank too much. Try putting a perch up on a good fishing spot 🤞🏼
loving the effort you are all putting into these projects ! no heavy machinery no quad no Ride on mower fair play !! who knows maybe Il get a chance to stay in that Shepard's Hut sometime ! Great to see Dawn in the video too !
You’re putting me to shame with your progress. I get ahead, then family life happens and I’m back where I started, or worse. Still, I can watch you and dream, one day………………..😂
Great to see someone living his life to the fullest. I am a lazy person with 2 left hands and no imagination of creating something. I work 36 hours a week but still…
Really like the small bridge you built. But had it been me, I would have coped the rail instead of the post. The hollow on the bottom will collect water when it rains, and will accelerate decay.
Simon your channel is in my top five, I love watching you build things. Your wildlife homestead is really coming along can’t wait to see your permanent hide. I had no double that your bridge was going to be amazing. Thanks for taking the time to share looking forward to your next video. ❤
Really enjoyed this again Simon, you really are living the dream and effort equals reward and with all the effort that you and Dawn are putting in !!! You deserve all the rewards that will eventually come your way. 🙏👍
Fantastic, great progress. Serious graft. Bridge looks bang on. Good attention to detail. Love a draw knife, great tool. You should be proud of yourselves, making a beautiful place even better. All the very best to you both. 👍📷😎
This is such an amazing setup Simon, so glad you found such a perfect spot and are doing it with nature in mind. Looking forward to seeing the hide build. Will you have the floor insulated and rest insulated?
Many thanks! Thats what its all about, check out the amazing things that theyve done at the Knepp Estate!! Its amazing what happens when you give nature a chance. The hide walls will be insulated, not the floor. Dont want people to get too comfy!!🤣🤣👍🏼
im fully into this series, if only you did more a week cause i am very impatient and this series always makes me wanting more. looking forward for next episode <3
@@simoneardley haha i know what goes into it i just have little patience when it comes to a creator i enjoy watching. your films are incredibly soothing to watch and keeps me motivated to continue doing wildlife photography ☺
Who needs a gym !!! You two have done so much in a short time, amazing to see the place progressing Simon. Look forward to the next video and seeing the hide coming together. 👍
Incredibly interesting series of videos Simon. You must be one of the hardest workers I have seen. Everything you do, you seem to do yourself and the end result is always absolutely perfect. Well done and I cannot wait to see the finished project and the new hide in action.
I wouldn't miss one of your videos for anything, Simon. I love to watch you photographing birds but right now I'm even more interested in watching your homestead come together. Good luck and God bless.
