I played drums with our band THE NEW TRADITION we had the opportunity to be on stage with VINCENT AND PESCI during the 70's. They were funny and very professional, they deserved to make it big!! RIP FRANK AND A HELLO TO JOE PESCI
The Telethons with Jerry Lewis were a bore every year after Sammy Davis Jr died. The Telethons should have had younger Comedian guys take Hosting 20 years before he was finally replaced by that time it was too late. Billy Crystal type of guy at the time in 1990 was the excellent type of Annual Host that could have taken over the MDA Telethon renaming it the Billy Crystal Annual Labor Day MDA Telethon.
Where are the photos I was supposed to see this week? I want someone to take a g-damn concerted effort not to do a g-damn death dedication out of an uptempo record.
Damn, I can't believe how powerful this is. It's like listening to the ramblings of a grandparent in a hospice room knowing damn well the end is coming soon. I never thought this randomly made tie-in game could give such a beautiful send-off to a legend. ...And it's the same devs as 007 Agent Under Fire and Everything or Nothing who would go on to make Dead Space. Legendary games from my childhood.

He was at the time extremely popular and everyone was proud that he did a PSA for tuberculosis back in 1968. I was a 3 year old and on going on 4. I'll be 60 at the end of June, 2024. Where does the time go?
...we have the priviledge here in Columbus, Ohio of having the first place that Sammy Davis, Jr stepped on stage: the Lincoln Theatre, current home of the Columbus Jazz Orchestra.
The fact that he made to 80 years old at 400 pounds is mind blowing. You don't see men that big live that old, but Marlon Brando was a rarity. I got to give Brando props for not giving a s&%^ and making it to 80.
I knew one of the singing mailmen on this album. His name was Robert "Bob" Zander. His wife "Connie" was a "home-distribution-person" for the Miami News newspaper, which I used to deliver. Her house was the distribution center for the news delivery carriers of the zone. The entire Zander's family was great. Their son nickname was "Tuffy" I lost track of them
As the comments below amply illustrate, this is a very misunderstood movie. It's amazing how many people take it seriously. Harpo Marx playing Isaac Newton playing "Beautiful Dreamer" (written more than a century after Newton died) is a measure of its tongue-in-cheek take on human history.
