Hey, I'm Jake Weihe (Y-HE) and this channel is dedicated to my passions. Stay tuned for videos about my current projects and reviews of all my favorite products.
Any plans on an adapter for Klein Modbox to Milwaukee Packout? I have the 3 piece Modbox and impact driver that came in a Packout case with formed foam that i would like to be able to attach
How do we know Lowes isnt trying to stock toughbuilt? They are tanking in stock and probably having a hard time meeting production demands. Lowes wants to sell stuff, why would they not be buying these unless there’s supply chain issues?
My wife sent me a link in Amazon for this Mod Box . She thought the pricing was a bit cheaper than Milwaukee and considering the timestamp of this video. They are cheaper but not much. I like the ideas of the rails on the side and was wondering if you can 3D print a holder to hold a television tripod on the side rails? I shoot video and am looking to invest in a good storage system. And this might fit the bill
Idk if you knew this, but the small loops on the front are MOLLE loops, you can attach all sorts of stuff to them, the system was originally designed for military use and is used on packs and vests
the loops are pretty close to molle but not exactly the same. Pouches and stuff can be attached by molle loops on some of my other bags and vests are slightly different. them being attached to the hard shell of the bag makes them harder to use
Honestly, this is all too expensive and I already have toolboxes in different sizes and what not. I just want to use them on a mobile something. How to make something that fits my needs, no idea.
Check out my latest video on the hart system Sounds like you might need to make a lot of custom pieces if you want different toolboxes to work together.
Thanks for making the Hart brackets available. I've had the hart system for years ..definitely worth it for the price. Wish they had a "pipeline" vision to expand and make future stuff as well...no guarantees though.

The fact that I literally was just looking into these today and came across your video is awesome! I was gifted a roller pack out and I need more storage but pack out is so expensive and it's just for at home tools so I was thinking hart would be fine and this helped! Thank you?
Im gonna be honest, theres really nothing that special about Milwaukee packout compared to other similar systems, but the support for this product is WILD.
It looks good for a home handy man who wants a box they can cart around home sometimes (definitely the intended market) but it definitely wouldnt hold up to daily use on a job site for long.
I am a Klein mod. Box owner. I almost bought the tough built, but they did not have the three drawer slide out. Tough bill is an awesome system. I would buy it over the Milwaukee hands down. I have researched all of the boxes heavily. They all have their benefits depending on what each individual customer wants in a system. I don’t think there is a bad system out there. Having said that, I think Milwaukee is the poorest system in that they have the largest financial backing, and they have rested on their laurels for too long and they are losing customers drastically because they are falling behind. Like I said, I firmly believe tough built is a fantastic system and I love their wood top add-on. I wish Klein built one like that. You can’t go wrong with tough built.
I searched them all watched all of the reviews that I could in short I picked the Klein mod box. It is the most durable, the most convenient, the best drawer lock. The best drawer hardware well beyond any other competitor. There’s no rails to add on for your attachments. The handle comes off. You can actually store items in the handle area. It has the biggest wheels at 10 inches. The clasps are rock solid. The waterproofing/seals are second to none. I am a ice cream factory mechanic and I leave it in -20° for hours and bring it back to store it in a 90° boiler room. For me it had all of the features that were specific and useful for me and it had the best industry features in other areas such as the wheels. It also has the highest gross weight rating.
I would but Hart boxes aren't available in Canada. Neither is Build Out which is my other main interest in a box system. Ended up with Tstak, would love to see you do some stuff on tstak/versastack
I would use Home Depot buckets for like 2 jobs and use the leftover money to buy packout. Investing in Walmart tools/boxes is making a decision to stay broke.
Hart Stack is the most affordable modular toolbox solution, but is it worth your money? I purchased the entire system from Walmart to find out. Check out my latest video to see what I think of of each of the 9 pieces currently available
I have the Keter Stack 'n' Roll system (like this but with Red accents), I got mine from WIckes (They had an offer going, £5 off all) The Starter is £99 The Base box (with wheels) is £55 The Drawers units are £50ea The Tool box (with open tray) is £30 The Organiser is £25 The Half Organiser is £13 You'd need to source the bags and Small Tool box other than from Wickes My thoughts As a DIY enthusiast or apprentice where you don't need water tightness and you want to keep your DIY stuff tidy together and out of the way these are your Huckleberry. The smaller size would suit someone like a Plumber or Sparky doing maintenance in blocks of flats, they just about fit througha standard UK doorway. As a professional builder or Tech lugging stuff across the job site, go for one of the higher priced options. I do wish you could pick which options you get in the starter kit.
@jordanscharphorn6344 gotcha. I agree they feel flimsy but I do like how there’s two of them. I think if they changed the pivot and plastic they’ll be much better. But they’ll probably never change it 😂
@@JakeWeihefantastic. I’ll be waiting for the pack out towel holder. I went and looked at the po and the tb today. Both are super nice. Leaning to the po but the tb has a sweet lock. The po has better built in security features - especially for the 3 drawer unit. You have a new subscriber!
One of the most requested toolbox reviews I’ve had in the last year will be out soon! Stay Tuned to learn more about all 9 pieces included in the Hart Stack system! #toolboxes #hartstack #harttools #packout #modbox #stacktech #weihedesigns
Packout is the greatest system, no one can compete with them. With that said I want/need/want to see Kobalt get their development in order. Not to mention keep all of their items on the site. I want to use Kobalt because I use their power tools and as a bonus, it will be easier to find mine on the job site when everyone has their Milwaukees parked next to each other.
