My art teacher is gay and when he found out I was dating this girl from my class and he would just be so supportive and say we were the only good couple in the school😭
so you're correct, there is proof that the hotel works, but Charlie and the rest in the hotel don't know. Unless someone tells them they wont know, and will keep trying different things, I would be surprised if anyone actually tells them Pentious was redeemed. we stan our MVP Nifty. ~<3
Not sure if anyone mentioned this already or if you found out, but apparently the two actresses aren't sisters but are together! And I love that sm, it adds to the list of why this is one of my favourite childhood movies, although it scared me to death when I was 6 haha. I stayed far away from those Lalaloopsy dolls since lol.
It was making the rounds around the same time this movie did, but have you watched (or will you for the channel) "The Iron Claw"? (Though you WILL cry watching it.)
SALUDOS PRIMO DESDE LA CD MX, TE COMENTO APESAR DE HABER VISTO COCO LLORE CONTIGO POR LA EMOCIÓN QUE TE CAUSO. QUE BUENO QUE TE GUSTO LA PELICULA Y SOBRE TODO AHORA ENTIENDES EL SIGNIFICADO DEL " DIS DE MUERTOS " QUE TIENE PARA LOS MEXICANOS. SABES CADA AÑO CUANDO EMPEZAMOS A HACER EL ALTAR LLORAMOS POR NUESTROS MUERTOS PERO AL FINAL TERMINAMOS RIENDO PORQUE RECORDAMOS LOS MOMENTOS BUENOS QUE VIVIMOS CON ELLOS Y ASÍ AÑO CON AÑO SENTIMOS MENOS DOLOR POR SU PARTIDA. TE INVITO A QUE TÚ ESTE AÑO 2024 ALCES UN ALTAR EN HONOR Y AMOR A TUS SERES QUERIDOS QUE YA PARTIERON.
Nial i asked this in one of your other videos and you didnt answer, i dont want to make you uncomfortable but are you going to post the Good Omens reaction you did on your Patreon in youtube? ❤
As a female millennial and someone who was with an Asian immigrant, this movie went HARD. The throwbacks of boybands and Tamagotchis, and dealing with puberty... to the things my Ex had instilled in him (that I concurrently learned about) touched on a very specific time and healed things that I didnt know were hurt. I dont understand the hate that this movie received. Regardless of gender or nationality/ethnicity we all, deep down, want to please out parents and make them proud. Plus, we were all horrifffically awkward as teens, and this movie fully shows that. Also- forgot to mention, this really drives home how important our friends are when dealing with live changes. Her friends are amazing, and what I thankfully had growing up, and hope that my potential children will have. Its shapes who they will become.
"Pressure" is the anthem for every first born daughter. Its taken me a few years to be able to listen to it without crying. The songs are just AMAZING in this
I took it as Tyler being mean to Mei because he was jealous that she could so openly be herself at school and he couldn't, what with being a 4Town fan.
I like that the side Characters in this movie have their own story that is sorta Visible sometimes when u pay attention to it. Besides Tyler is actually my fav character lol- he seemed to be quite lonely, probably seen as a weirdo. So he hid that and when he saw how Mei was like him and even showed it so proudly he was jealous of her confidence. Could also be that other people who saw Mei as a weirdo then sided with him wich made him continue cuz he didn't wanna be lonely. Kids/teenagers do questionable things to protect themselves in some way uk. Hecc some adults do that too- alot of them probably.
I haven’t seen anyone point out the fact that at 20:31 when Ambrosius has his sword drawn on Ballister, if you look at his eyes he is very clearly looking around at the Director and all the knights surrounding them. He also grimaces in a very fighting-back-tears way just before saying, “Arrest them.” It breaks my heart because Ambrosius in that moment clearly does trust that Ballister didn’t do anything wrong; he’s just doing what he thinks is his only option to keep Ballister alive.
So they released a lyric video for Poison a few days before Epis 1-4 came out. And it SHOT to the top of playlists. Like 10s of millions of views. We could tell kinda what it was about... but it was so damn catchy. And then we saw episode 4. And oh man. They sucker punched us good by doing that. Everyone felt extremely dirty for having loved it so much. It was so very much darker than we even thought. And they did NOT hold back showing it. The fear in Angel for Charlie who is literally untouchable. The nightmare he lives in. His desperate tries to ruin himself so bad even Val wont use him. This episode is dark and hits the reality of things way too well. But that song still bops hard. Weve made our oeace with loving it.
Keep in mind that as a top dog in hell you stay alive by knowing when to fight and when not to fight. Zestial is ancient. Amd still alive. That fact alone should terrify every other overlord. It scares normal sinners so much they were murdering themselves just as he walked by. No... Velvette is doing something else here... and it took me a few watches to figure it out. She is trying to goad them into doing something. Because the Vs WANT them all killed in retribution. More power for them to grab. It comes up later in episode 8 during the final song. Of course, the overlords arent all stupid. You get to the top by being smart. Power alone isnt enough.
I honestly dont think murdereers deserve to have to have a chance. Like Alastor said in the pilot, "The chance given is the life they lived before, the punishment is this!". Obviously, there are extra circumstances, but I really think that most sinners in hell do not deserve what Charlie is trying to do for them.
Jacob is such a child compared to Edward... I was always team Edward. He's so much more mature compared to Jacob... but how Jacob feels does eventually tie in and make sense in the last book/film... love how they change into the wolves though. Love your reaction. 😊
You made me cry all over again, and now that my favorite aunt and granny died with dementia it hurt twice as hard. Thank you so much for these feelings, though. It felt nice to remember them through this lovely film. Loves from Mexico.
4*Town always reminded me of O-Town, including their sound. But the creator/director said they were inspired by all the boy bands of the 90s/00s lol. There’s also quite a bit of lore around their name and the formation of the band, including the fact that they’re a parallel to Mei’s friendship group (started as 4, added a 5th member).
Oh my gosh I love this movie. I watched it with my younger cousins and I think they were concerned because I was bawling my eyes out. My heart broke for the characters but oh my gosh my heart broke the most for the Mum. She was trying the hardest to do the best by her daughter. Just trying to look after her because she wanted to protect her from the same things she went through but it was her generational trauma. The way the Muma was wanting to break the generational trauma so much but at the same time was doing the exact same thing as she experienced because she was hurt and lost ah and she was failing in that to which was hard for her because she wanted to be perfect but was fighting to be perfect for others for her family for herself and all those things conflicted with each other that she was constantly feeling like she was failing. And wanted to control because she felt so out of control in the past and was still worried it may happen to her or her daughter one day. Afraid of herself, how heartbreaking and beautiful. My heart went out to her so much. Sometimes mums are just broken little girls who are doing there best. What a beautiful character. I love the way it bought so much empathy for the mum. While Mei mei is the main character I feel like the story was a lot about her mum which was so beautiful. Also obviously their dad was MVP! 💕💕🎉
