Didn't Biden make the railroad workers go back to work? They are the ones being mistreated. They cut back on engineers on boatd while adding many more cars that have toxic products along with cars carrying food. The automation to alert of problems with brakes etc, does not operate properly. Maintenance of the tracks is apparently not being done properly. Too many "accidents". How were they made to go back to work, but not the dock workers? Aren't both used for delivering goods? With the environmental awakening of the late 1970s and early 1980s came as assumption that if humans were affecting the environment it was assumed to be bad. It wasn't long before politicians realized that if they simply declared carbon dioxide (CO2) a pollutant they could tax that which produces it, namely fossil fuels. So it came to pass that a gusher of revenue was created that politicians could distribute to those who would return the favor with campaign donations and money going to PACS. Unfortunately, there is another group of Malthusian worshipers that actually believe CO2 is causing unchecked global warming and using the 'save the planet' meme the politicians created they're exerting political pressure on politicians to stop not only fossil fuels but nuclear as well. What began as a grifting operation is now threatening western civilization with bankruptcy. And no, the planet isn't going to be affected in any event.

It is always cloaked in weasel words such as 'countering digital misinformation' and 'preventing hate speech' and the like, but its intent is purely to stop people expressing any opinion that is contrary to the Government's own propaganda. Unfortunately, our institutions and main media have bought into this 'semi-stasi' society that is being 'crafted' by evil socialist dogma. Unless the British people wake up to the fact very soon it will become impossible to stop the heavy censorship of the population being imposed by suedo laws and the embedded small print so that any untoward remark will be found to fall foul of some law.
Although I agree we should check out both sides, I try to minimize how many clicks I give to people who already have the advantage of their content not being demonetized or throttled back - especially as it seems clear they have no intention of checking both sides on climate change etc, and get more than their fair share of help from the biased media. Sometimes it's just too tempting to find out what nonsense they're talking though when they've been clever with their titles or thumbnails, so I download it rather than watch it, in the hope that doesn't still count as a view. It shouldn't have to be this way. My leftie sisters send me enough nonsense to not have to go looking for it though. They won't usually watch anything I share though as they have a long list of people they will never listen to - effectively blacklisted, because they've swallowed all the "warnings" - a bit like being back in school - "Don't talk to so & so - just stick with us and you'll have no trouble". Whenever I do check out the other side, I must confess to being a little fearful I'm going to learn why I've been wrong all along ... It always comes as a relief to find it's just the same old story re-packaged with some of the worst attempts at comedy to pad it out and supposedly make it palatable.

@@uploadJ I'm from the UK so I've got enough worries with our own useless politicians jailing people they label as far right for saying a word out of place and our so called leaders not having the common decency to even mention when one of them (Peter Lynch, a 61 year old Grandfather) dies (read between the lines) a few weeks into his 2 years 8month sentence for holding up a placard and shouting at police. But I'm listening to a lot of the arguments and news coming from America over Trump - Harris and find her shockingly vacuous. I like listening to the debates between Charlie Kirk and Harris supporters and a few similar types of content and to be quite honest, it will be a depressing outcome if she wins in my opinion. We have a lot to be thankful for Elon Musk so far enabling some of our worst problems to be exposed, but sadly, even Nigel Farage is keeping his mouth shut on some serious issues. It's complicated to talk about openly. Fingers crossed Trump wins.
