$120 vs $500 MARKER Art | Arteza vs Pro Marker - Which Is WORTH IT..? 

During this video I mention something i call "The Crow Effect"... What I meant was "The Magpie Effect", We gravitate to that which is bright and shiny... My bad, I just love Crows so much. Haha.

I like the Arteza side, the pigment looks more rich and deep. The darks are much darker giving it more contrast to make the highlights standout. But, it's a comic book character so it just fits the style of the piece better.

I think that Dr. Oct would be a good villain to draw!

This makes me wish I could even afford Arteza markers, but I can’t even afford an $8 box of Cra Z Art markers just yet 😅

On terms of color, I prefer the Arteza markers. It's just brighter and more aesthetically pleasing. For blending, I love the Pro Markers. The metal arm really brings out its advantages over Arteza. Because I'm on a budget, I would definitely get Arteza over the Pro Markers lol

I like the Everblends more on this one. They just have the coloring and vibrancy of a comic book style to me. Loved it. Ducks are people too! I want to see Galactus come into play more than just a quick history shot in Guardians.

The left side looks the best it is so much brighter and it stands out so much. I have been waiting for someone to finally draw doctor doom as he is my favourite villain and you accomplished it. Ducks are people too

This one was hard to pick. I do like how the Arteza side sort of looks like a really good colored pencil finish.

Really awesome drawing! I'm a little biased because I use arteza markers all the time, but I do like the left side better. The smoothness of the pro markers are awesome, but the pigment amount and price bring them down for me. Great job and I hope we get to see actual sentinels and Master Mold in future movies.

What a great piece! Seriously, you should be scanning the line art of these drawings to collect in a coloring book. I would buy one in a heartbeat! I think that I prefer the Promarkers for Doom himself, but the "magic" part looks better on the Arteza side. I really love the addition of the black Kirby dots in the energy field, too.

The music selections on this video is really nice. I love it. It’s hard to choose between the two, because it looks similar.

This time I have to say that I prefer the Arteza markers. They just seem to work a bit better for the look of Doom.

The vibrancy of the everblends is hard to ignore, the magic part with them looks so good but on the other hand the cape looks better with the pro markers and they seemed a lot smoother...I am going to give it to everblend since they are half the price they visually pack more punch and they seem to do about the same thing, plus the case is cool

Its really hard to decide, I think the Arteza won this round for me. The Pro markers blended very smooth tho. Next villain: The Goblin from Spider-man

Great piece of work yet again. I am an Arteza fan and have found when using them with their expert coloured pencil range, you can get some realistic results. Arteza for me as I am also an artist on a budget

imma be honest i just clicked this cuz it was doctor doom, he's my second fave marvel villain and DEFINITELY should be the big mcu villain next. And to answer the question abt markers: I prefer the promarker side because, sure the colors arent as bright, but i feel like paler colors make a marker set more versatile, like for adding subtle colors or coloring skin n such.

I really like this drawing. I like the left side more because the colours look a lot nicer and pigmented. And btw can the next vid not be a vs? I like this series a lot but I think a challenge or speed drawing would be cool

have been using the Arteza for like 6months now and man ill not move on to a different marker. they are very nice and the cost you just cant beat!. they are vibrant. I’ve only got 10 markers to begin with since I’m on a really low budget and the brush markers are expensive. I hope to keep pushing and working on artwork and hope to get more markers to work with. I have arteza brand the set of 60 and i absolutely love it so much its so good and pigmented and vivid i like promarker too but the pigmentits not :) if i haved 120$ i will definitely buy the set of 120 colors but now im getting an tablet so maybe later 👍😁

Just a thought: Regarding the armor of Dr. Doom. It might have been interesting to use a life model or photography as reference so that you could create some realistic reflections in the armor. This would help to create the illusion of a metalic mirrored surface without resorting to airbrushes or penciles/ charcoal white to achieve the highlights and contrast of polished metal under the extreme light conditions of the piece. Still, An excellent image and both markers seem of great quality. Love your channel and you are an exceedingly talented artist. Great Job!

I like the left side markers. Mostly because of the brightness, having said that, I would definitely choose the right side markers since you can do a lot more with them. I would like to see Mr. Sinister or Omega Red. Cheers!

Really like the arteza markers. I bought some and saw some more I’d like to pick up. My only gripe is the nub, like you said, is a bit too firm for my liking but overall they’re a great product for the price. Arteza all the way for me.

Just a bit of background, I paint at Master level with watercolors, no big thing except maybe to me 😁. Never was a comic fan in the long ago past of my youth but I've always loved watching others who know what they are doing and having fun. I have spent hours watching you work and will spend many more. One thing I am always glad to see is your use of dark darks. The hardest thing at any of my seminars and classes is getting people to use darks. It takes light to show dark and dark to show light and you do a great job.

I have been watching some of your videos now. I like your work. I like the marker comparison videos and your professional attempts at colouring books with the markers. My opinion on this amazing Doctor Doom piece is that, the left side looks (as you said) a lot brighter and more vibrant. I think it has that comic style look to it that you would want when drawing and colouring a comic book character. What I personally prefer overall is the right side. I like that the dearer markers give his cape more depth and feels like you can actually see a texture to it, bringing out a fabric look. I also prefer the metallic look to his arm on the right and especially his mask. The left looks more of an aged metal and the right (imo) looks like a newer, shiny metal. The one thing I prefer about the left side is the greenish-yellow (lightning-like) energy coming from his hand, looks nice and bright and looks more like an energy source, whereas I think the right side energy looks more like a fluid/liquid. (That could just be me though). I understand this whole video took almost a week to make, a lot of time, effort and dedication was evident here. It would have been great to see how the left markers would work for his energy blasts merged with the right side (dearer) markers for the rest, I think would make this piece look perfect but I know this was for comparison reasons. Great work overall, I really like it!

I prefer the promarkers, which are the ones I have. This has made me want to go and draw something now so that's even better and I will try blending and underlayering if that's even a word. Cheers

Left side for me on this one. The vibrant color lends well to comic style and the colors work SO well for this dark scene with a lot of shadow. The right side looks way brighter.

I guess it depends on the artist if they want the colour to pop or blend smooth. I say try artezen for first timers and if really indulge of the markers and want to be more detail I say Pro markers. Love your work!

I like the Arteza ones better - but likely just because of the vibrancy. I'm new to the channel (and I don't really dabble with art very often) but I appreciate the skill and how well made the videos are. One thing I'd love to hear included in the videos is how long each side takes. As a non-artist, I think we probably are always curious about what kind of time investment that kind of result takes. This looked awesome my dude! Great job! I lean more towards the left side, just because it’s a little more bright and vibrant, but I think both sides are extremely well drawn. He’s not really a villain as such, but I’d love a Winter Soldier movie in the MCU. And I don’t mean CA:TWS. I mean a movie just following Bucky’s training and brainwashing and how he came to be the man he is now. I’m also happy that we are getting a Loki series soon, I’ve loved Loki ever since the first Thor movie
