Is replacing broken screen on Macbook Air M1 is an easy process and expect a positive outcome ? I decided to try it and bought $240 Macbook Air. Here's is what happened ...

I'm always amazed when people offer their relatively decent working order product for such low prices! In my country a working m1 MacBook, with only a dead screen, owners would still ask 500 minimum!

@@IhorPushkar pretty sure there is a machine were you can copy the old screen serial number to new one to get True Tone to work on the new screen

Ahahah, true. I was shocked when I saw prices for parts. It’s cheaper to go to Apple Genius Bar and get it fixed there :((

Dealing with the same situation, I bought m1 from eBay and it has iCloud, now need to find part to repair it. Any sources you know of to get it cheep?

Just look for a macbook with a broken screen on eBay, or a just a working motherboard.
