Yes. You do need someone to give you tips. I once popped a whole dollop of wasabi in me mouth before my Japanese friend could tell me it was just a condiment to be used sparingly as it's very, very hot. Can't remember if I spit it into my napkin or sent it down. Repressed memories!
@@edelweiss8168 I think your terminology between "hot" and "acidic" are quite distinct. In other words, wasabi isn't hot, just very very VERY acidic. (Even tho it is a spice)
Japanese culture is awesome. I’m a bartender in the United States and I try to incorporate some of their techniques into my cocktails. Unfortunately, Americans don’t have the patience that people in Japan do, so their are some things I can’t do because it would take too long. If you have the time, check out some Japanese bartenders. They’ll blow your mind.

I like how at 8:15 he tries to make the vegetables look nice and stack them in a fancy way. But when the second one falls over, you can hear in his mind, "Okay, let's try again". But then it falls again and he's like, "Okay, let's just play it off as if that's what I wanted to do", and then just stacks them on top of one another. This was funnier in my head now that I think about it.

I think this is the best chef in your videos so far. So full of explanation and direction that it feels as if like he really is your personal chef, not a restaurant chef. Well done! Hopefully you can reveal the restaurant name so that we can go there as well after pandemic.
Amazing attention to detail. Not a bad way to spend $250 at all with all the attention the chef gives to the customer and number of courses given. Good luck getting that level of service and quality of food for the same price in the US.

That chief explaining everything is so good, even though Aden knows it feels good. The way chief put chips , salt,pepper and those green thing for Aden is superb.
Damn, to be a good Cook and a good actor, even more at the same time have Perfect communication skills to describe your every move... This requires skill... Good price for the meat, even better for the performance
I've been here with my GF and it is hands down the best Teppanyaki I've had in japan. Been to numerous others in Osaka, Tokyo, Nagano, etc. but this was the best.
Watching this s!it is so satisfying . The chef is very experienced , you can tell . I watch this stuff at night while going to sleep because it helps me fall asleep in a natural, relaxing way , cool !
From all the teppanyaki restaurants in your channel, this would be the one I will visit if I go to Japan. The attentiveness and dedication of the chef is far beyond my expectation. The food also looks very good and the kitchen is extremely clean. They serve good amount of meat, as well as the offering various choices of side dishes and ingredients. If I have to spend 250$, it has to be here!

I like that the chef gave tips, at high end Teppanyaki restaurants I always have my wagyu cooked according to the chef's recommendation, for the best experience. They know a lot more about the beef they're cooking than I do. While I know about the various cuts and what temperature usually suits each one the best, there are wagyu brand and grade combinations that are more desirable at a different level of doneness than you might normally choose.
At the beginning I was kind of disappointed that he wasn’t getting fresh real wasabi for that kind of money. But damn he did an 8 course meal. Lol. It would be really cool to see a place do real wasabi root freshly ground on the plate right before you ate
@@stoopidhead7898 well that makes me feel better about it then. I always thought real wasabi had a super short (like minutes) half life. So if it was real you had it ground right before you ate it was my understanding. Thank you
