@@kanishkachakraborty I’m sorry, that was very disrespectful and rude. Who am I to say what kind of phone someone has or how much it cost? I understand the point of your comment and I just made a bad choice of response. I’m sorry Kanishka.
@@mcathawk1490 Hey you really don't need to feel bad about it! I really appreciate your response, and if it makes you feel better, I accept your apology. Have a great day, and stay safe!
I often times wonder about these so called rip off expensive restaurants n I've come up with my own conclusions. For those who can afford it, when you go to these places you're not paying for the food you know. I think you're paying the workers to go to the doctors for all those long painstakingly hours of standing on your feet petting n pampering n doing technical surgery on the food for you to eat🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 come on for goodness sake let's think about it what is soooooooo special that is being used on the goddamn food that a normal restaurant cannot do or our parents or grandparents cannot do???🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 trust me it really baffles me!!! How can someone pay thousands of dollars for a plate of almost nothing in it???🙄🙄🙄
@@REDSNOW- Your usage of "most people" is very much inaccurate. Maybe you mean most people in certain subgroups of middle/higher-middle class do this on occasion
For those wondering why there are 2.7k dislikes, its because he ordered one of the best steaks on the globe "medium well"... might as well eat a cheese burger at that point.
Medium well is very good for wagyu, because the beef has so much fat, only medium well renders it and fills with flavor. Try a test on wagyu beef, you will be surprised that rare and medium rare doesn't taste as good and fragrant as a medium well.
I lived in Japan for 8 years... Teppanyaki like this so wonderful there.. I think the finest on earth. Their dedication to quality, cleanliness, presentation is unsurpassed. Those who have never tried it.. should experience it...
Sometimes, I feel medium rare is pushing it too far. A nice cut of meat, anything beyond medium rare, if it's cut and prepared right is taking so much flavor away. I'm so glad my friends taught me to eat meat the right way.
@@ErwinSchrodinger64 the only “right” way to enjoy anything is your way. You aren’t eating the food for anyone but yourself, so let go of this “right way” silliness. Your friends taught you their way and made you believe it’s the “right” way. Imagine if people were as vocal about eggs and which way is the “right” way to enjoy a fried egg.
Except this kind of wagyu is actually better enjoyed medium or medium well and not rare like a regular piece of beef. If you don’t cook it a bit more, the fat can’t melt.
To me, watching this is the same kind of relaxastion, like watching Primitive Technology. There is so much care and respect that goes into making the food, it's unbelievable.
This is the same Teppanyaki restaurant that's always featured on the show "Doctor X"! I've been searching everywhere for this place! Thank you for uploading!
@@moh8644 Exactly.. "art" of cooking.. Its a show... Youre paying to be entertained by watching her cook the food.. and they put on a show for you.. Its got nothing to do with "art"..
How do the chefs train for this? Do they have a backroom where they toss spatulas around for 5 years on ground beef before they are let loose with the real thing?
My girlfriend is a chef at benihana and they infact do have training hours and a private table for chefs to practice. And you buy your utensils so you can take them home to practice aswell
Dude asked his $300 steak 🥩 to be cooked throughly and the chef completely ignored him and gave him medium rare instead. Chef knew you can’t ruin a steak that high of caliber
@@fahadhussainarain7588 if you overcook a steak, it dries it, a lot of flavor depends on the juice content. Also, the texture becomes more and more rubber like. I like my steak rare usually, but medium rare is ok. That's when you can taste the meat. I like a good sear, almost like a thin crust on it. and as little brown as possible.
@@fahadhussainarain7588 it should be however you like it. It’s all a matter of personal tastes. And for the record people are talking like all cuts of meat are the same. With a cut like this that’s so marbled with a high fat content you can easily cook it medium well and still get great flavor and tenderness.
It's basically a gas grill. So on the chef's side there's knobs to ignite and manage the flame under the flat top and the flame is lined up with the knob. So the farther you are from that spot, the cooler the surface. At about 20:00 in the background to the right of the chef, you can see a couple of the knobs
I've been following you for a very long time and I am very proud to say that your videos are amazing and so much entertaining. Aden is such a kind and talented person. Thanks you for your hard work and keep it up.
Isa Ias atmosphere seems horribly stiff and strict in my opinion. But then again, I’m uncultured when it comes to fine dining so my opinion matters not.
Nosrah it’s about class there’s some “elitism” involved in “fine dining” which I think is pretty dumb but that’s part of the reason they can charge so much nobody’s loud and being obnoxious
So your videos have suddenly popped up on my feed and I could not be happier. Was wondering since this type of cuisine is fairly new to me if you could perhaps tell us on screen what each food item is with a quick graphic?
If the food tasted half as good as the ambience and the extravagant preparation, it’s worth the price. I found this to be a visual treat. They understand that we eat with our eyes and ears, too.
I've been trying to think of a good way to describe these kinds of videos, and you've nailed it. Also Alvin Zhou has some good videos if you're ever looking for more like this
I almost couldn't believe my ears when he requested medium well and she saved the day by refusing to ruin that ridiculously expensive steak and cooked it a perfect mid rare/medium.
Chef: How would you liek your steak? Him: Medium well Chef: Oops, I just remembered we're out of steak today Him: But I just sa- Chef: WE'RE OUT OF STEAK!
@@alexbourg4165 I've been to certain places where they refuse to serve you. In italy there are alot of places where it's basically the chef's way or the highway.
This is the best name i could come up with ...ruined steak is medium-well and well done FOR MOST CUTS... If you cook wagyu medium-well or well done, it will still have the same juiciness and tenderness as when you cook a ribeye medium-rare because of the fat content of the cut...
Wow this chef is certainly the cleanest I’ve seen you can tell she scrubs her hands so vigorously that they are still red. She works the material so elegantly that i expect it to melt in my mouth. However I did not expect her to speak English. I was surprised at her fluency. I will make a special trip to this establishment.
