Visiting Gomei in Tokyo Ginza to have their special course dinner. I have visited this restaurant a few years ago for the first time: • $230 Steak Dinner in T...
This matsutake mushroom is amazing. If it's too big, it won't taste good, so it's just the right size. These mushrooms are so high-quality that you are not even allowed to wash them.
It's RAW If someone could eat raw meat and say Yummy they could eat a human I wanna puke 🤢🤮and that man salting that raw loin does it gloveless...he poops and wipes with his hands and picks his nose
Hey this the very same chef you had on a video that you posted 4 years ago because in the other video he cooks you a steak and makes doriyaki. He must be an awesome chef and thanks for the great video!! Much love from Kenwood, Oklahoma USA!!
Hey Aden I've seen pretty much all of your teppanyaki videos and the first time you visited this guy, he really stole the show man. Perfectly cooked beef and the education was eye-opening in terms of how to cook tenderloin properly. If I had the money and could only choose one place to go in Japan it would be this guy... Great videos by the way if you ever need a helper please let me know haha
When I came to Japan for my honeymoon, it would cost 90,000 yen for two people, but with food of this quality, I think it will be a memory that will last a lifetime.
If you ever get a real fresh from a chicken egg I recommend pouring it over steaming hot rice and stirring so it poaches the egg slightly. It's quite good.
When people overseas think of Wagyu beef, they may imagine marbled and oily meat, but I would like you to enjoy the lean meat of Wagyu as well. I think the mellow, natural aroma and flavor of the meat makes it a great experience! By the way, the wasabi that the chef introduced is real wasabi. Cheap wasabi is colored horseradish and has a completely different taste and aroma!
Can you please explain to me the difference based on your personal experience? I have wasabi and it makes me head hurt, the is the one food I cannot eat even though I never had any allergies please explain to me if it’s actually better.
Tip alway included current up to 15% few years back was 10% encounter many time hotel staff's refuse to accept tip. we therefore usually placed Tip in a envelope put it at the bed side.
This is one of those nice restaurants that looks like you actually get your moneys worth. So many high end places serve these extravagant dishes and it looks like you'd leave hungry.
Its genuinely looks good than my experience , last time i got to omakase in japan the chef cooking our first dish like for 20+ minute just to make mushrooms with a slight garlic taste like wth why would he do so much thing just to serve bland mushroom
Yeah I agree, this is total BS. 321 damn dollars for this ? He's been cooking this damn mushroom for almost 8 minutes with a small carrot. That's it ! Badly colored, no spices, no seasoning, no anything. Oh no, sorry, 4 drops of aged Balsamic vinegar. I mean ... really ?
@@pierre-igorverlimmeren3502 please do not forget that this mushroom was created from only the finest Shiitake spores, lovingly cultured, hand-picked by 16 year old virgin Geishas, packed in premium wood boxes, then cycled in by an 90 year old Chinese grandpa on a wooden bicycle.
Don't forget a big portion of Teppenyaki bill goes to the chef's performance. You can totally go to any other restaurant to eat your food much cheaper without the cooking show.
I’m sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but on the menu does it say Granite? What exactly does that mean? I tried looking in Google and could not find anything.
Did the plate have two crossed blue swords? This trademark stands for Meissen porcelain, probably the best porcelain in the world, or known as white gold.
The balsamic did not seem that thick in texture from the close up. Older balsamic is very syrupy. So I'm going to say it was not that old. I'm sure high quality nonetheless.
We were at this 秋田牛 last month exactly the same except add fish and white truffle. almost same in price 82,000YEN for two of us. our 3rd time visit Akita Wagyu same chef, seem like he's the only chef speak English.
I thought omg he got a huge steak and it wasn't until the end I realized the smaller one was his lol 😂. If that is over $300 I can only imagine how much that big steak cost.
This Chef was great in your last visit, but it seems his quality has gone down quite a bit. A real shame because that first visit is one of your best IMO.
I see why its so expensive. Fresh black truffle. Freshly ground wasabi. The real thing. Those two things alone would be quite a bit. Did the guy really just make you some pancakes? lol
