Having a unit that opens directly to the pool is really great, I rented one once in Jomtien and had a very nice stay. Would recommend.

Great feedback. I watch a lot of your videos, but you don't mention what the monthly costs are once you purchase the studio, 1 or 2 bedroom place? Are their monthly or annual maintenance fees as well?

CAM fees are usually 25 - 100 baht per square meter per month. 1 USD is currently 36 baht. There is also no property tax. There is only a 3.3% property tax fee paid one time when you purchase the property. it's a much different system than the US where they just want to rape you every month.

Yeah I'm curious about that as well, because Pattaya seems so cheap for what you're getting. I'm wondering if maybe it's just because the monthly fees are high.

All in 100's, one suitcase only. No...joking, its the same probably as here, you get the mortgage or have bank send full payment. Its nice but do the research before you know what its like there.

68k will hold the value if not go up, you will end up with less than 68k if you continually travel. A property is aimed at someone who wants to settle in one location or holiday there.
