I made a video of a 1943 surplus Mauser i got from Hunters Lodge a wile back and there were a lot of comments on the condition of the bore. So that is what this video is about. I am using a Teslong borescope with a .20 lens and a 45 inch cable. the .20 lens fits in a 22 cal bore and it hooks right up to my windows computer no app needed. Looking good for the life it's lead. Rusty I have my order in for my first M1 Garand, they say it's delayed while they build some more rifles. Needed a partner for my CMP third round 1911M1. Love keeping history alive, take care and thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.

Rakum hello That what a few people have said that bore is not to far gone. It shoots ok. The bore scope is my first one and it hooks right up to my computer just turn on the computer's camera and boom its on. It's a TESLONG BORE SCOPE i found it on AMAZON 45 inch cable and a .20 inch lens so it will go down a 22 cal barrel. The scope is like $57 delivered .. there are other ones but the lens is way bigger and they say something about an app to run it. THANKS for watching RUSTY.

hey for 98 bucks aint that bad, i paid almost a thousand for my piece of junk from RTI at least it does not keyhole, put a lot of TLC into it tho

Hircine hello ya the surplus rifles are a lot of work getting them cleaned up and to shoot. You know Hunters Lodge has thousands of the $98 specials It takes for ever to get it back but i know that going in. THANKS for watching.

Rusty did you pick up any of the 98 dollar Mexican Mausers? I was thinking of buying 5 and hoping I get one workable rifle out of it. As for this puppy I say fuck it, as long as its not sending the rounds out tumbling I say that's a victory.

Thecompanioncrate Howdy No i didn't get any of the Mexican Mausers.. That might be some thing to look into. The 1943 i got from Hunters shoots ok .. some people leaving comments say that bore is not to bad. Thanks for watching. If you get any of the Mexican Mausers let me know or make a video .
