I’m worried.” And that reveal of FCG being the one eyed monster blew out my theory of an Aeorian, Avalirian, or Zemnian Nothic being responsible for FCG’s past

It breaks my heart how FCG was during the second one. Like a kid that knows he did something wrong but doesnt know what, talking to a parent, looking for forgiveness

Maybe this is only a small reveal of a bigger thing? Sam is really good at playing the long game

@@bestofcriticalrole Maybe I did miss something, but the thing that makes me think here is the bit later that FCG has memories of the 'one eyed monster', unless I am misremembering things. If that monster was FCG, who doesn't retain memories of these episodes (as seen when Imogen couldn't find anything) how would they have a memory of that then? I'd not be surprised if there is something even more amiss here (and hey, we had our fair share of changelings, shapeshifters, possession and mind-control in this campaign already)

@@lilmaibe You would be suprised how powerful delusions of self can be. The legend of the werewolf came from people not believing in the terrible things they did and dreamt up a monster that must have done it. It is not that he doesn't remember, it is that he doesn't want to remember.

@@lilmaibe rewatching the episode where Imogen looks through FCG’s memories of the event, he actually specifically asks her if she sees the monster, prompting Laura to ask Matt the same question, to which he responds “weirdly no,” also of note, when the two do their mind meld some episodes later, Matt describes “a figure darting off into the shadow”, presumed at the time to be the attacker, when in reality it was most likely Dancer. Personally I’m still excited! anything and everything could happen with this, and other things could happen in addition to it, so I’m really not disappointed at all. (though I understand that some people might be)
