the collapse of the soviet union is the worst catastrophy in modern history. It had its flaws, and many people say communism looks good in theory but in practice is bad. well even if that is true, it's still better to try than stay passive in the horrible world we live in today. the soviet collapse is the result of constant aggression from the capitalist world, they get so nervous when they dont control EVERYTHING. I share the same sentiments too. I am a jamaican and I absolutely loved the Mighty USSR. It produced the best national anthem in the history of mankind. Long live the Unbreakable Union of the Mighty Soviets!!
It all started with the Bolsheviks and ended with the dissolution of the union. What we have now is the CIS and Putin tried to reestablish the Soviet Union by annexing Crimea in Ukraine.

It is now ukrainian. It wouldnt be fine coming into your new house and saying that this room is now mine because it was mine even though I dont live there anymore. And really Ukraine hasnt been independent for...eternity they want to be independent now. They are people there that want to be part of russia but most of those people are Ethnicly Russian. Still both of these anthem versions are quite powerful and pretending myself that this anthem gives me patriotism to my country or theirs, And withstand my innocence and being helped by.
